The trip started with a waterfall, this was a lovely little stop where we could get a coffee and look around the shops, whilst also taking in the tranquil site.
A nice little surprise was the ancient Roman ruins stop off. Here we saw 2200 year old ruins that are fully open to the public to walk amongst- they are located on top of a hill that is an incredible viewing platform. We had lots of photo opportunities here.
Aside from these drop offs, the jeep safari alone is so much fun! Our driver Serjan was incredible, the jeep is fast and abit scary at times but the driver had our full trust. He played music and had us all standing and cheering. We went off road, got splashed in big puddles and raced with the rest of the convoy. The entire trip was pure laughter and memories. Complete mountain views were spectacular, we saw a dam and drove through the mountain tunnel reaching the green canyon.
After this we drove to the green lake. Here we had a chance to buy some Turkish pancakes that were freshly made. We then got on the boat which was relaxing, the driver was the same guy who drove our jeep- he took pictures of us doing the titanic pose and also driving the boat.
After the boat we had lunch at their restaurant on the side of the lake, this was very basic but was still a lunch.
To end the trip perfectly they offered us to buy the video and pictures that were taken throughout the day on the go pro. At a very reasonable price!
We have since looked at the usb and some of the footage is amazing, so we are really grateful of that.
All in all, highly recommend!!
