Really surprised at some of the reviews as the service we received was great. Had a suit made that was measured well, we went back next day for first check fitting and just a couple of minor alterations to do and it was ready for 7pm. Ladies all very helpful and I’m pleased with the results.

I wished to have an Ao Dai custom made during my trip to Hoi An but hadn’t read any reviews about the best place to go so while I was walking around the town I got to this shop by chance and it caught my attention. The lady I talked to was a bit pushy and wanted me to make a quick choice about the pattern of the dress so I felt like she was not interested in making me happy but to make a sale. Anyway, the material was beautiful so I decided to go for it and had the first fitting the next day. I was asked to pay fot it at that moment - 2,575,000 VND-, policy of the house she said.To my surprise, when I got there the next morning, the dress was already finished. It did not fit me at all, it was too loose but she tried to convince me it was perfect. The breast seams were close to my waist and the quality of the tailoring was really bad. After complaining, she told me to come back the next day. It looked better but still not adequate to the standards of a tailor made piece of clothing. I had my third fitting later that afternoon and when I complained she blamed on the material and was very rude to me. She gave me a plastic carrier bag to take the dress back to the hotel and when I asked for a cloth carrier bag she said they were unfinished. I felt like it was a terrible waste of time and money. I don’t recommend it all, it might have been a good option in the past but now the lady who runs this business is very impolite and the quality of what they made for me is certainly below the standards of what I had expected.
La atención que recibà por parte de la persona encargada de la tienda fue pésima. Me cobraron el importe total al encargar la pieza, no una fracción como es habitual y no me sentà en absoluto bien tratada. La calidad de la confección es pésima según los estándares europeos y sé de lo que hablo. No lo recomiendo en absoluto.
La atención que recibà por parte de la persona encargada de la tienda fue pésima. Jeg kom kl. 19 en aften og fandt en masse pænt stof. Jeg viste så et billede af en kjole, og havde selv en nederdel med. Klokken 15 dagen efter, kunne jeg hente mine 2 kjoler og 2 nederdele. Det var helt perfekt og lige som jeg ønskede. De var super profesionelle og hjalp med at anbefale det stof, som ville passe bedst til mine ønsker.
Det var gode priser, god kvalitet og god service! Derudover er deres udvalg af stof super fint og moderne

Got there by chance while walking round the old town and made a tailored linen set (trousers and shirt). The output was not fit and I needed to ask them to fix it immediately while they kept telling me that it was perfect. When I washed it, it was terribly changed the color that I must call them to ask for fixing again. The answer I receive (as always) that their product is perfect and the issue with this is my own trouble. I, highly recommend, not to try the services in this shop if you don’t want to ruin you excellent trip in Hoi An.

2 years ago we were in Ao Dai and have a long pleated skirt made. The skirt was beautiful but it had a spot in the fabric (it looks like grease spot). After I made the seller aware of it, she marked the spot. I was promised that the spot will disappear by the evening. In the evening the spot was still there – only the marking has been removed. This time I was promised that the next day the stain will be removed. That was also not the case the next day. Since we were leaving back home following day, they made the chances in the skirt overnight. The skirt was brought us to our hotel only an hour before departure!Â
Unfortunately, first at home we noticed that half of the pleats are in the wrong direction. Recently we were back in Hoi An and wanted to fix the rock. Ao Dai tailor denied us the repair because they "have a new tailor", because it is short after "Chinese New Year" and and and. We should come back in two days. Two days later (our fourth day in Hoi an) they told us they can repair the Rock IN A ONE WEEK's time. We would have to bear the costs of shipping to Europe ourselves.Â
After all his pre-history (hiding the spot, lying, etc.) I do not believe this tailor. I didn't want to pay for a repair, which I have not seen before.Â
Conclusion: unprofessional tailor who lies. Save your money and nerves and go to a different tailor. There are enough good tailors in Hoi An.Â

Unfortunately I was attracted to the tailor because they stocked a fabric I was interested in, however some of the staff do not treat customers in a friendly or respectful manner so the experience was quite stressful.

Compre un vestido hermoso! Una atención súper personalizada, me tomaron las medidas y al otro dÃa lo tenÃa perfectamente confeccionado. El precio acorde al producto, y a la atención.

During our 3 days in Hoi An, I got 3 sets of suits and 2 shirts, in linen and cotton, tailored and made for me. I have been to a number of tailor shops, each time spending a small fortune, to get measured and suits made, only to be disappointed later by the final products. As you may know, once a suit is made, if the form is not right, too baggy or boxy or skinny, the tailor cannot change it to fit. That has been my experience. I approached Ao Dai with the same skeptical attitude...
Mrs. Na, the salesperson who worked with me at Ao Dai, was very professional from the start. She listened to my need and requirements (I'm very particular about how I like my suit to be made) and made recommendations accordingly, always with an attentive and understanding attitude. Mrs. Na recommended a suit made of linen as the fabric is light and suitable for Ho Chi Minh city hot climate. Two other suits made of cotton blend for my wedding. She was extremely knowledgeable about the different types of fabric as well as the styles of suits available, down to the smallest details. The measurements were meticulous. At the first try, which happened the next day (my fiancée was amazed at the speed), the linen jacket was perfect. Mrs. Na, with her eyes for details, recommended some small adjustments to the pants and the back of my maroon double-breasted suit. The final result was perfection! I could not be happier. My request to have my name sewn onto the suit pocket was done at no extra costs, compliment of the house.
Overall, I am highly satisfied with the craftsmenship and the service of Mrs. Na of Ao Dai. I now have my casual linen suits to wear on a hot day as well as my wedding suits for the most important day of my life, all of which I'm very happy with. The price for these suits was probably half of what it would cost for a similar experience in Ho Chi Minh city. They were open to negotiate the price, so if you find something unreasonable, feel free to negotiate. If you go there, ask for Mrs. Na and I guarantee that you will leave a happy customer.

I had three jacket suits made by Ao Dai when I was in Hoi An last month. I was so impressed with the service and the quality of their work. I went their at 3pm for the measurement, fitted at 7pm and got my orders at 10pm! Thank you so much! Will definitely come back and order again!

Extremely poor quality! I got a number of items made while visiting Hoi An, on return to Australia I realised all of the silk items were actually synthetic satin fabric, they have started to pill. I also hand washed a pair of pants and they came apart at the seem. Very disappointed as the designs are nice however the tailoring is poor quality, rushed and I was lied to regarding the supposedly 100% silk fabric. I will not be returning to this tailor on my next trip.
