If your a golfer and want a further experience without the sun or rain go here, great indoor facility, the best machines to train or play on & the staff are super helpful. They have a full bar and great menu for when your finished so bring your friends or come alone you won't be disappointed. 10 outta 10 !

Greens were unacceptable. Slow behind belief. Caddies ok but better at Korean than English. Good layout but greens ruined it.

Played the Norman course, lovely course and in great condition for the rainy season, greens where good but slow,
Caddies all new what they were doing and very polite,
Only down side was pace of play very slow, and if your a single they put you together to make a 4ball, which is clearly a lottery,

We were vacationing with another couple in DaNang and opted to do an impromptu golf morning. We stopped by the clubhouse and BRG was willing to work us in for 9 holes without a reservation. When we arrived on the morning of our game the caddies were all lined up waving as our car pulled up. It was a great and welcoming experience.
The course was very nice and in great shape. You cant say enough about the caddies. The work hard and are constantly helping in anyway they can. Only one of our four had any english, so that made things a little bit difficult but they could communicate yardage and basic commands like left/right, etc...
The negatives were significant though. As a high end golf course i expected certain things that were not provided. For example. I would expect free water or water bottles provided. I expected cold towels or any towels, none. There weren't even tees provided in the carts. As inexpensive as most luxury experiences are in Danang, i expected 5 star, four seasons time service from the staff and amenities. It just wasn't there. It felt more like a budget service experience except for the caddies.
The biggest problem was in our club rentals. Because we didn't bring clubs, we arranged to rent clubs. The clubs were old and mismatched. We started by hitting some balls at the driving range and after 2 swings, the head of my wife's driver broke free. We showed the driver to the caddies that started a frenzy of activity and communication with several managers and forms that needed to be filled out. In the end, they said since it broke while we rented it it was our responsibility to replace it. So we were charged $250 for a 10 year old driver. The manager wouldn't even come down to speak with us regarding the decision and left it up to the front desk girl to hear our side of the story.
So all in all, i wouldn't recommend going here. There are too many other places in the area to have an excellent experience especially at this price point. Vietnam is so service oriented and the people are wonderful. Honestly in our entire 2 week experience, this was the only negative serivce interaction we had in the country.

[BGR Da Nang Golf Resort] We used the Nicklaus Course (completed in 2020). As expected from a master designer, the course was skillfully placed with bunkers and slopes that involved ponds, and every hole was thrilling. Twosome and through took about 3 hours to complete the round. Excellent practice environment.
○Access: 11 km (about 980 yen) from the seaside hotel. I booked a Grab on the morning of the day and added in a note that it was 2 bags.
○After arrival: The caddie will transport the caddie and give you a copy.
○Reception: At the pro shop counter. A piece of paper to be handed over at the starting hole is sandwiched inside the locker key.
○Locker room: Spacious, shower only (shampoo, body gel, bath towels, hair dryer available, bring your own conditioner)
○Range: Roofed, paid, driver allowed
○Approach practice: Bunkered, course balls available
○Putter practice: Spacious
○Restaurant: Vietnamese Chinese, delicious but many ordering mistakes. Must double-check your order. Can be used before playing after checking in
○Pro shop: Original goods available. Even if you lose a lot of balls, they sell them (apparently blue balls are recommended)
○Caddy: Does a good job. However, I'm not sure about the rule that you have to pay the caddy fee and the tip (about 2000 yen). It's definitely better to give it to them later.
○Return: Grab (comes quickly on weekdays)

Let me start by saying the design of this course is exceptional! Every hole is a signature hole. We played from the Yellow tees as it was extremely hot and we didn’t want to make it any harder for ourselves. Still a challenge to get your drive in play but if you did it was usually a short approach to receptive greens. The greens have some character but they were quite slow and that took some getting used to. Disappointed with the Rental clubs, a resort like this charging what they do, surely should be keeping their equipment up to date. Think the sets we had were ping G25 and all regular shafts!
This was my first ever experience playing with a caddie and it took some getting used to, overall an amazing experience though.
Saw an earlier review about the range balls and I must say they looked like they had all been chewed by a dog. We never intended to play golf on our holiday so we were a little under prepared, a trip to dragon golf just down the road for some lake balls, tees and a glove set us up and fortunately the course weren’t too strict on the dress code. I have played golf in other countries such as Turkey and the hospitality is much better, we didn’t even receive a complimentary bottle of water and it was about 40deg C.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area, in think the pros far outweigh the cons.

Played the Nicolas course. We had to rent clubs
And found them to be quite good. Disappointing that no water tees, towels or ice was included. The caddies were good and made the round fun. Course was in beautiful condition with lots of water and sand traps on almost every hole.
Played off the white tees. No cart girl for food. Overall a nice course

Buyer Beware,
In Dec 2019, I purchased a three year prepaid membership from BRG. All was going well until recently when Vietnam Immigration notified Xpats their tourist visas would not be renewed. With mine expiring June 20th, I notified club management of my mandatory exit of Vietnam and this should trigger the “force majeure” clause of the contract.
Local management acknowledged this was a “force majeure” event. Also advised this was not a local matter but corporate was reviewing. Thus, other Xpats were experiencing this same difficulty. My request was not a refund of my prepayment but to temporarily freeze the clock on the three years.
Yesterday BRG informed “clearly an unexpected circumstance beyond our control and it cannot be considered the fault of the golf course in any way”.
I write this in hopes it will help any other prospective members to understand BRG can not be trusted to honor it’s own contract.

As noted in my earlier review, I’m a member of BRG from USA. Great courses and caddies. My earlier criticism was “worst golf balls on driving range ever”. I must update now after a six month wait, now they have the “Best Practice Balls on Driving Range in Asia”! The practice facility is good, with shower facilities, bar and grill, bunker, chipping and putting green.

Green fees will be about USD $150 and yes you can hire very good quality clubs. If not there are organisations like Golfasian that can book for you and also arrange for hire clubs.

How easy is it to get from Hoi An to this golf course? only have one free afternoon and my dad would like to come check out this golf course. Which is the best way to get there and around what price?

Danang Golf Club is north of Hoi An, along the coastal highway towards Danang. From the centre of Hoi An old town it would take less than half an hour by taxi. You could easily get a taxi from any hotel, the staff are most willing to telephone for a taxi and incredibly a taxi would appear within a couple of minutes. For the distance, the taxi fare would be several US dollars but would not exceed US$10. From my experience, the taxis go by the meter and is hassle free compared to the larger cities of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi.
