Avec sa longue plage de sable fin et blond et ses nombreuses nuances de bleu, la plage de Kuto invite à la baignade et à la farniente, même familiales. Splendide !

Un très beau spot, passage obligé lorsque l'on arrive par le Betico.
Le sable blanc, les cocotiers, le bruit des vagues tout y est pour passer un agréable moment.

Excellente plage l’eau est d’un bleu turquoise le sable blanc à perte de vue le Koubugny situé juste de l’autre côté de la route endroit chouette pour les enfants

Superbe baie où accoste la navette maritime qui fait Noumea-l'Ile des pins

Les platiers et zones coraliennes sont peuplés de poissons multicolores
Ce n'est pas pour rien que plusieurs gites et hotels donnent sur cette baie.

Isle of Pines.- piscinnie natural (the natural lagoon), gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous, would be even more so in high tide. Long long walk to get to it (through water & through bush). We departed from Le Meridian and it took approx 20 mins to walk with our 7 & 3 year olds.
Lots of fish, coral close to shore & beautiful setting.
The Kanumera bay is stunning!!! Not too many fish but gorgeous setting. Is right across the toad from Kuto bay and beach.
Kuto beach is walkable from the Jetty boat pulls into. Turn left upon exiting jetty and just follow the road around to Kuto bay beach, 10 minute walk. The sand is like pure Velvet!!! It is even better than Whitehaven beach in QLD. The colours are out if this world.
Across the road from Kuto bay (yes literally across the toad) is Kanumera bay, walk down there for a total slice of paradise!
After getting off boat there is lots of taxis and mini buses.
We got into a mini van with some other tourists (who also spoke french), after the driver announced bonjour Madame Piscine Natural .... yep cool that’s where We want to go let’s just get in. No idea on cost or anything just ran with it!
About a 20 minute drive later He took us to Le Meridian Hotel and dropped us off there to walk to the Natural Lagoon and said come back at 2pm. It ended up costing $3000 XPF (approx $42 AUD) for the four of us - 2 adults 2 kids).
He then took us to Kanumera bay (again about 30 minutes drive) , and charged us $3000 again.
He said we just walk back to jetty to get on boat when we were ready. And pointed to jetty.
Boat with Bettico shipping companies was $8990XPF for adults return.
Total cost us $342 AUD approx. 2 adults 2 kids.
Planes was about $1000.
French is widely spoken everywhere and English is very limited or not at all so brushing up on your basics is a good idea.

Ultima tappa della nostra crociera Royal Caribbean, si arriva sull'isola tramite tender. Appena si arriva a terra si possono scegliere dei tour locali della durata di circa 1H/1.5H mezza, prezzo economico che ti portano a vedere le bellezze dell'isola e al rientro spiaggia. Se non si vogliono scegliere tour locali si può andare direttamente in spiaggia Kuto Beach e Kanumera Bay sono una fronte all'altra pochi passi e si trovi in due tipi di spiagge differenti tra loro ma entrambe molto belle. lungo la strada trovare tribù locali che ballano danze tipiche nessuno ti opportuna sono tutti molto educati, ci sono bancarelle e famiglie che vendono snack (MADE IN USA ahahah).... anche qui si consiglia la crema solare , dimenticavo l'isola è famosa per la produzione di mango, fermatevi ad assaporarlo per soli 2€ qualcosa di unico , 5€ se volete anche un cocco intero da bere.

とにかく美しい！本当に片栗粉のような砂で、今まで見たことがないくらい綺麗なビーチでした。一日中、目の前の景色を見ていても飽きないくらい素敵な場所でした。

とても美しい砂浜のビーチです。
ただ、ビーチベット、パラソルなどは一切ありません。
ゆっくりするなら、ゴザなどを持っていく必要があるとおもいます。でも人も少なく、リラックスできる場所だとおもいます。

La baie de Kuto est tout simplement paradisiaque avec son sable blanc et son coucher de soleil.

for Cruise stops in New Caledonia, I would like to know if it is necessary to have CFP in order to take a taxi or buy anything or whether USD or AUD would be accepted or would any local tour operator take a credit card.

Hi, did you go to Island of Pines via the Ferry? My husband and I just want to spend a day there, swimming, relaxing, perhaps lunch/cocktails at one of the resorts. Then back to Noumea via ferry that afternoon.

We sailed there on our yacht. Getting there by ferry should not be an issue. The island has a lot of things to do. Lunch on the hotel deck overlooking Kuto bay. Hire a cycle or car from the resort behind the hotel deck. Visit the boutiques near the police station. Swim in the lagoon on the bay opposite Kuto. If you have a car going to the Natural Swimming pool next to Le Meridian is recommended. You will find lots to do. The other thing we did was take a ferry to Amadee Island. That was awesome as well. Hope this helps.

I visited the island two years ago while on a Holland America cruise. GORGEOUS!!! We were on a long beach of white sand. Does Holland America bring tours to Kuto Beach? and which side of the island is Kuto Beach? Thank you for your help.

Hi, Same side as where the boats / ferries come in (so not far from the Port). The Island is very small, but we found having a car for 1/2 a day means you can travel to see all the attractions on the Island.

Is there any seating available on or near the beach? My elderly Mum would have difficulty getting up from ground level.

There are random park bench style seats around the beach but in the shade and off the sand.
