The place was so incredible, we went there on the year 2015, while the show "Forevermore" is on going because that was where they were shoot the show and it feels like you were in the show and thw view there is so magnificent you should visit Sitio La Presa when you have time

i actually came here several years back but got to write the review only now.
due to the popularity of the place used as a location for a local tv series, a lot of people have been going to the place and has been very commercialized.
the unpredicted number of visitors were overwhelming that the barangay was not able to manage traffic, cleanliness, etc.
sad to say, the commercialization of the area was good for the locals but not for the environment. there should have been stricter measures to control the number of visitors per day, the waste management, etc.

We tried to visit La presa again and have breakfast at Cafe by the Sky but we were denied access. There was a guy at the entrance going to la presa due to temporary restraining order. Only residents of the area are allowed to enter.

nothing is new since the area was popularized by a telenovela. they're back to basic now. back to the original look. must visit in the area is the "cafe in the sky" the only good restau in this mountain. you can buy fresh vegetables in the area with locals, and you can get them cheaper.

It is temporarily closed for tourist, however, if rule permitting, it is a must site to see! The view from the top is magnificent with sea of clouds, a rice terraces and South china sea view from the other side. It is Baguio's highest peak.

Who won't recognize La Presa? It's now one of the most famous attraction because it is where "Forevermore" teleserye of ABS-CBN was shoot. And we actually travel there on their last day of taping and since there's a lot of people around, we were not able to explore the place as it is really crowded. You can find the Radar Station situated here and Baguio Stock Farm which sells fresh milk, yogurt and cheese. So what we did after checking and do some picture taking, we just had our breakfast in "Cafe in the Sky". They also have a Bed & Breakfast available for backpackers or who wishes to stay away from the hassle and buzzle in the city of Baguio. Every morning, fogs are just around the corner and it's really cold. Literally sea of clouds.

You can feel baguio because of the fogs, the cold air(fresh) and you can see the full view of baguio city.

Warning-Steep and uphill road... It was a frightful trip for me as the road to La Presa was so steep . And with the short sharp turns made it more dangerous. It would take a skillful driver to take you to this place. Good thing we left our car at the foot and took a taxi where the driver was a local to La Presa. He certainly knew the terrain.
The place was supposedly serene but with the number of tourists around, I guess it is understandable that it grew into some kinda carnival.

Been here once last April but I heard that this is now closed to the public. It is situated in the highest peak of mt. Cabuyao where the two mickey mouse ears-like radars are located. You can see the whole city up here. The view is so breathtaking and picture worthy from the mountain ranges and sea of clouds! 😊
We were very lucky indeed for having the chance to visit this place.

I used to hike up and down the hills of Sto. Tomas area even before the "La Presa" season...The scenery is just awesome, the terraced farms, and that once quiet village- perfect for weekend hikes. It was just a sad view seeing too many people flood the area and trample the cultivated soil for selfies, plus souvenir shops popping almost everywhere. It's good that for a moment, the place was closed for visitors.
At least, La Presa can somehow rest and recover.
