This shop is absolutely wonderful! The staff is so kind and helpful. There’s a vast selection of crystals and stones, herbs, incenses, candles, tarot cards, statues, etc. I love love love this shop!

This place was absolutely amazing. We stopped in when we were in alabama for an appointment, but will be making the trip from Georgia to Alabama tomorrow just to come back to this location. The coffee was great, the selection was wonder, and the staff was friendly!

From the moment I saw the amazingly charming, historic home housing this enchanting little business I was absolutely in love! It is genuinely one of the very few places I’m aware of in the Birmingham area that specifically cater to those of us seeking items generally associated with what are often classified here in the heart of the Bible Belt as “occult” paraphernalia/tools.
In other words- it’s simply a cozy, loving little business that offers a wide assortment of items ranging from handmade jewelry, incense, candles, crystals, tarot decks, essential oils, an expansive collection of educational books on a wide variety of topics including Wicca, tarot, astrology, divination, spirit guides, etc, with new shipments arriving regularly!
They create their own teas and the friendly staff will even gather you a bag containing your requested amount of dried all natural herbal tea blends- including a wide variety mixed and prepared in house to aid in providing specific commonly sought effects including relaxation, natural sleep aid, digestive relief, etc! You may also customize your own blend selecting your preferred teas, mixing and matching to create your personalized desired natural effects and flavors!
Additionally they have a cozy, cafe-esque area where you can relax and enjoy a freshly crafted caffeinated concoction of your choosing.
Their collection of tumbled crystals is expansive - each labeled with descriptors indicating their associated healing or manifestation effects (don’t worry! With so many options it’s quite easy to recall the properties associated with each stone! lol I know I’m constantly having to cross check myself regularly just to be certain I’ve got what I need!😊), not to mention the dozens upon dozens of incense varieties and a wide array of colored candles to correlate with and aid in the enhancement of any spell work or manifestation you may be seeking to attempt.
But, wait... there is, indeed, more! 😅 For those who may be just beginning their spiritual journey, researching all the options available seeking your true path, new practitioners who haven’t quite established a strong confidence in their budding abilities, or simply seeking a more expedient option for a time sensitive issue or goal, BB&C offers candles, mojo bags, bath salts and other items already spelled with commonly desired intentions such as love, prosperity, money, emotional peace, clarity, and even anti-hexing or protection offerings crafted by experienced spell workers.
Private tarot readings with spiritually gifted professionals are also available for booking should you be seeking a more personal one-on-one experience to gain insight into specific situations you may be struggling with or longing for guidance about.

One of the coolest stores in Birmingham. The owner is always kind and helpful with any questions and happy to help any customer find the direction he or she needs.
Not only do they have a great selection of crystals, books (including some really rare and expensive copies), herbs, oils and other cool items, they regularly offer free classes to help people master their comfort level using the items.
There is always a group of interesting people gathering around the store and their coffee is amazing.

This place is amazing!! I was in Birmingham to visit a sick friend, and was looking for a metaphysical store. I found them online, and stopped by. The owner was there and couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful! I felt so comfortable there, and they also have a great selection of tea and coffee drinks. Since the whole Coronavirus thing, they started having online classes. I did that as well, and they did not disappoint! Definitely stop by this gem! I can’t wait to go back to Birmingham just for this store.

I care to buy things to use in Wiccan rituals, and decorating my altar in general, and I was not disappointed. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to try the coffee, but the products I purchased were great quality.
