This chapel is just adjacent to Archaeological Museum of Goa. This is an old chapel of St Catherine which is not in use now. Now it has the value of old archaeological structure reminiscent of Old Portuguese era Goa. May visit just to have a feel of old Goan structures.

At first glance this church is a shell but look closer if you're a history buff. Built on the site of the conquered town's Moslem mosque, its graveyard has lots of interesting stones from the colonial time. Above the main door there is an interesting plaque full of angels. It's quiet to explore after the chaos of the too popular basilica.

This place is not at all worth visiting separately. Only good thing is that it is at walking distance from basilica of bom jesus so you can spare a few minutes to go for a round here.
even you don't visit, you would not have missed out on anything...

A very old chapel. There is nothing much inside but the red stone flooring around the church is interesting.

Its a very small Chapel almost in ruins, but well maintained. Its next to the St. Francis Xavier church behind the place where Archaeological Society has exhibited gun powder making instruments / equipments. A flight of steps downwards lead to this small isolated Chapel which is not crowded at all.

This small, diminutive chapel is tucked away between the river and the St Francis / Se Cathedral complex and it gets easily overlooked, but I recommend you take the short walk downhill and spend some times enjoying the simple beauty (the interior is empty), the whitewashed façade and the historical significance of the site as it was built to commemorate the Portuguese conquest of the city.
In the garden behind the church there is an interesting collection of tombstones, coats of arms, columns bases and architectural features from Old Goa that make it look like a cemetery.
A small colony of bats lives in the church apse - and I guess the peace, relative darkness and coolness make ideal for them.
