Amazing holiday

My partner and I have recently returned from an amazing 26 day tour covering Rajesthan, Varanessi, and Nepal. We arrived in Delhi and were met by our driver and taken to our hotel where we stayed for a couple of nights. The hotel was excellent, and our guide showed us around some of the highlights of Delhi, it was amazing as we saw both the New Delhi and the Old Delhi. The rest of the tour was fantastic and I couldn't list all the fantastic places we saw and the fabulous hotels that we stayed in. We especially loved the heritage hotels and also the botuque hotels. VJ made sure that we had everything that we needed and we felt that we were looked after throughout the holiday. Our driver was very experienced and although some of the journeys were long, we had wi fi in the car which was great. We would highly recommend Times India Travel, and anyone considering going with this organisation can rest assured that they will have a fantastic and memorable holiday. Thank you VJ, we would love to come back and travel with your company again. Jackie and Keith

All our expectaions were perfectly organized

With had a fantastic time in Rajasthan. Everything from hotel accomodation, car, daily tour guides was organized always perfect.
Want to mention our driver Lal, who drove us safe, always friendly.
Also communication with Vijai was very good, answers always within a few hours.
Can highly recommend Vijai and his team if you are planning a tour in India.
Tank you Vijai and our best wishes from Switzerland

Holiday of a lifetime

Carol and I had a fantastic trip visiting most of the major sites and stopping in 4/5 Hotels during our 14 day break.
Vijay and his staff were attentive to our every need.
This was without a doubt the best vacation we have ever been on
Would certainly recommend 👍

Amazing India Trip!

We recently visited the Golden Triangle and used the services of Times India Travel for our car, driver, and tour guides. From my first inquiry, Vijay was very quick with communicating, which I really appreciated. He also took the extra effort to acknowledge my husband’s birthday. We liked all of our tour guides, especially Kushi, who managed to provide us with a fun, smooth visit to the Taj Mahal on the most crowded day! She explained the history so patiently. Also, I can’t say enough about how much we liked our driver, Mr. Banwari Lal- he was always punctual and pleasant, and an excellent driver. We felt like he really took great care of our family the entire time and genuinely wanted to keep us safe and happy.

Vijay was very responsive to all our requests. Our driver Rahul was fantastic as well. Hotels were very nice. I would highly recommend Times India Travel.

6 days in the Golden Triangle

We did a six day tour of the golden triangle before heading to a wedding in Mathura. This was our first time in India and we couldn’t have done it without Times India. The only planning we did for this trip was picking Times India! Our driver, Mr. Rahul, was waiting for us at the airport and was with us throughout the rest of our trip until he dropped us off at a friend’s house in Mathura. He was always on time, flexible, and thoughtful. He kept us safe and comfortable throughout our journey. In each city, we had a guide who rode with us to different sites and was willing to stop at places not initially on the itinerary if we wanted to see them. Each of the three hotels were wonderful. They had the overwhelming hospitality of India but also all of the comforts of home that we are used to. Vijay was also readily available at all hours and made sure that any requests if we had were accommodated. We even shared a wonderful meal with him! Thank you to Times India for a trip we will never forget!

From the start Times India Travels' experiencia was great. I received clear and concise information about the tour I took to Taj Mahal. Vijay organized everything for me: plane tickets, accomodation, tour guide, transportation. It was a great experience and had a great time with our choffeaur Mr Bini and out tour Guide Khushi. Highly recommended, and next time Im in India I will contact them immediately. Thanks for the great memories!!!

The most fantastic 2 weeks

My husband and I have recently returned to the UK after the most fantastic 2 weeks touring Rajasthan. Words can’t even explain how amazing our first experience of India was.

We experienced 5 start service from my first enquiry to our final goodbye at the airport. Vijay was great at tailoring a trip to our interests and ideas and happy to arrange anything you wish for a very reasonable price.

Our driver Rahul safely got us around and was extremely helpful and flexible with our itinerary, such a kind man who we will remember forever. Highly recommend stopping by Jain temple if you are travelling to Udaipur, the most stunning drive and by far best temple we experienced.

100% recommend booking with Times Travel for a holiday of a lifetime!

Disappointed

I have planned a trip with this company, and have paid a deposit. I have sent 3 messages now, but still no reply.
We are disappointed enough, without having this type of service. All I need is an answer, as my insurance need evidence that they won't pay back.

Hello There,  Apologies for late reply on this review. Also, sorry for late response as there were some technical issues on our website when you messaged us in 2020. Apparently, when you planned your trip to India, due to covid situations it wasn’t possible for you to travel as the tourism was shut. Also, would like to mention that as it is against our company policy to refund the payment prior 30 days to your arrival, we suggested you postpone your trip to whenever you wanted to travel irrespective of time span and the amount will be managed there. We did respond to you about how you can claim the insurance, even though you weren’t eligible for refund from the company. We contacted you as soon as tourism reopen in India in 2022 as well and suggested you to make use of the amount you’ve already paid and plan your trip to India soon, but you turned us down. Hoping you were able to claim your insurance and still offering you to travel with to India whenever you feel like in future and make use of the amount already paid. Thank You Times India Travels

We are booking a trip for September 2019 with Vijay. How did you do the payment to him? He said we have to pay 50% deposit and the rest in cash on arrival? How did it work with you?

Hey there Siendiewereld, Pretty much just like he said. I can't remember how we paid him the 50%. I think Paypal. My husband handled that and I can't remember. But then we simply took cash for the balance. I know it was kinda nerve racking traveling with that much cash but we divided it between us and after he retrieved us from the airport, early the next morning, he came with his assistant to one of our hotel rooms ( we were 3 couples) and the assistant simply took it and we were off with Vijay and our amazing driver, in the amazing passenger van to see Old Delhi! No fuss. Does that answer your question?

Hi there. The company provided what we expected, and we would highly recommend this company. Members of our family went on a tour organized by them, and they recommended Them to us. The guides that were contracted by Times India Travel were all local guides not employed by them. Some spoke limited English. Some were great, and some not so good. Overall, we had a great experience. Shopping was suggested as part of the tours, and it was entirely up to us whether we wanted to participate or not. Many times, we chose to go so that we could learn about the process of jewelry making or carpet weaving, for example, and we were never pressured to buy anything.

How does Vijay go about collecting payment,any concerns?

Sorry I missed this question until now. At the time of booking we paid a deposit via direct bank deposit into Vijay's Indian bank account and then did the same thing for the final payment when we arrived in Delhi. It was easy enough to do from our Australian bank account. We were travelling with American friends who had to use PayPal and I think Vijay had them pay the PayPal fees and PayPal gives a very poor exchange rate.

My husband and I are planning to go to Delhi in March. After reading all the comments re Times India Travel I tried to contact them via their web site and then using their hotmail address. I couldn't send my message via the web site and the hotmail came make as unable to be sent. What email are people using to contact this service? Thanks for any help.
