PVR cinemas is horrible. Don’t go to the Nexus mall PVR. They cancel show at the last minute and the staff is very rude. Especially don’t try their IMAX theatre where they keep cancelling the shows as their projector always gives up. Useless staff members.

I went to PVR Velachery for DMart shopping. We just went to DMart and they charged for parking even we purchased for 7000 rs. Delayed for just 20 minutes due to cart unavailable took some time and lift availablity was very minimal. So it took additional time to checkout the parking. The charged for that delay. This is not far for the customers. Its really money looting in PVR mall in Velachery.

It was such an wonderful place and once hands changed it was very badly maintained. No proper maintenance. High Cost. esp F & B. Washroom seems totally nasty and poor hygiene.

Happen to visit the PVR galada mall in chennai today for a movie with my sister, elderly aunty and mother with special requirements to walk due to medical reasons.
I'm a huge fan of SPI cenima and come to PVR only for the SPI food products. I had a life-threatening experience at the Galada mall PVR. Post movie screening we approached the elevator to exit as the movie screens and food bay are in 1st floor and only ticketing is in ground floor. To my suprise the elevator was not functioning me assuming it's a late night show they turned it off for power saving, enquired if they can turn it on as my mother couldn't walk the stair due to medical conditions. We had people go up and down the stairs but not communicating anything to us. Do i continue assuming they turned it off or wait for them to prove its a malfunction God knows. However post couple of minutes waiting and asking we were Informed elevator was not functioning hence we had to take time have her walk down in breaks as she could not continue walk.
What if there was fire? Same situation applies, we can not use the elevator? Wat do people in wheelchair do? Is your venue unsafe for people with different abilities? Why do you not invest in a disability fire safety chair? Is that too much to ask? Or atleast a ramp for first floor where i could take her on wheelchair myself or like a moving walkway.
I strongly recommend you respond to this situation with a solution.

Screen 5 is very worst while watching movie screen is automatically off and on for every 10 minutes . Please change the screen or solve the issue

The PVR generally is good but the staff sitting in the ticket counter needs to be well behaved and polite. The Management is responsible for this.

I booked ticket for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy for Oct 2 10pm show, the audio system was very poor and the dialogues are not able to hear and the audio was getting mute in the middle. After the break the show was repeated again for more than 30 minutes and in the last 45 minutes the audio was dropped and the show was stopped . Audience asked the management but they saying we don't know. So I lost my money and we did not watch the show for last 45 mins.

Since pvr has got a fair few cinemas in chennai some of the new ones in omr are maintained in a very well state.

One of the franchise of PVR in Chennai city. Limited screen so you may see crowded. Good and maintenance is ok. Since it's close to railway station easy access to reach by train.

I recently visited the pvr mall with my locomotive disabled sister, the top row 4 seats are allocated to the disabled and their accompany. The initiative has just started by pvr still a long way to go .. u nee d to inform attendants as you may enter via different route . Still I would say it's not fully functional for locomotive disabled. People are locomotive disabled as they can switch seats, there is no way to transfer from wheel chair to seats in ease ..the arm rest should be foldable for sliding from wheelchair to seats .. still a long way to go on infrastructure...I visited the pvr grand mall Velachery .... Chennai....
