I love this square and enjoy shopping and relaxing here. However, sometimes the toilets are not regularly cleansed. They are smelly and looks like they are not taken care of. Specifically the ones next to clicks behind Kauai.

I should start by saying that we have been living in a hotel that adjoins Menlyn Maine Central Square for the past few months so have spent a lot of time shopping and eating there. It really has everything you need - three supermarkets (Woolies, Super Spar, and Pick and Pay), a health food store, a book shop, a toy store, a camping goods store, jewelry stores, Vodacom, MTN, a woman's salon, several barber shops, a gym (Virgin Active), etc. There are also a handful of nice restaurants, all of which have both indoor and outdoor dining which is key during the time of COVID including Tashas, Salsa (a very hit or miss Mexican place), Koi (pan-Asian), Old Town Italy, Mythos (Greek), Starbucks, and my favorite coffee place in Pretoria, Mira (which is essentially a container that was converted into a small shop surrounded by a deck with tables, chairs, and umbrellas. Ask for the Coconut Mocha. You won't be disappointed. It's also a good place for kids because they can run around the central square/plaza while parents enjoy a glass of wine or a coffee. There are sculptures all around the shopping plaza many of which have interesting lighting at night. The restaurants get very busy on weekend nights. It's a great place to go for a weekend outing when you can combine a nice lunch with grocery shopping, a hair cut, a pedicure, and/or a trip to the gym. While it doesn't have nearly as many shops or restaurants as the nearby Menlyn Mall, it is much less overwhelming and you won't get lost trying to find your way around. The indoor/outdoor spaces are also much safer from a COVID perspective.

We meet family member at Menlyn on Maine Woolworths for lunch. On arrival the floor and tables was dirty. They wipe the dirt onto the floor. We order frosted latte that tast funny, as if glass was not cleaned. We send it back and the manager also taste it was off. They replaced it. When leaving I pointed out some shortcomings to the manager who just respond they were busy in the morning

I love coming to this mall but must say I'm disappointed with the toilets. On my last visit they where so dirty I had to walk out and asked one of the restaurants to use there toilets. It's a shame as I do all my shopping in the mall. Please do something about your standards. It's dropping.

It was a breath of fresh air to experience this well designed little square, with beautiful restaurants, sculptures and a good vibe.

Interesting small shopping mall and excellent restaurants at Menlyn Maine. I love Spar, Browns, Woollies, Big Blue, Le Creuset and the book shop.Even a pharmacy at hsnd
But you can also choose from sushi to steak at the good restaurants after shopping. Good lay out with lovely Anton Smit statues and plants around the square area. Cosy place to hang out at nighit or during the day if you are tired of huge malls. Banks at this mall a great plus.

First time I had visited this new development and really thought it was stunning. Great selection of shops and certainly looked like a quality project. If in Pretoria it is a must visit destination.

All depends on what you aim at, but for the people in the area and the community yes. I think it is an asset to that part of the world.

Anyone looking to shop, dine or gamble. Unless you have a gambling issue then I'd only suggest the mall.

Apart from Restaurants and the Casino there is also "bounce" (trampoline park) for the more active people. A few interesting shops in the center as well.
