Had to be towed back in by a boater.
I payed for 2 hours. The jet ski overheated and died on us 1 hour in. I was towed back an hour early and they said I’m lucky they didn’t charge me my deposit claiming it was me who could’ve blown up their jet ski from sea weed. They gave us an old beat up sea doo. DONT GO HERE. They were incredibly rude and informative. They will rob you of your time, money, and enjoyment while on vacation.

We are early risers and wanted to get on the water before it got too hot. The Beach Shack was the only place that opened before 10 am and that answered the phone. It is super convenient and the woman who helped us was very friendly and helpful. It’s great for families.

Half a day is $400, not a terrible price
But the gas gauge was broken; we had one person tell us it had a full tank and another tell us it was 3/4 full
We didn't make it 2:30 on the lake before it ran out of fuel
When we called them, a guy told us we had to figure it out for ourselves and that he wouldn't pay for a sea-tow or gas
Eventually they did get somebody to come out and fill us up with enough to get back, and it bogged down a lot on the way back
When we made it, they tried to charge us for a tow AND gas (we had to argue a lot about that)
Still had to pay the $400 even though we didn't get to use the boat the full time
There was also no working horn, no working lights, a leftover food container with food in it, and the radio sadly didn't work

Lots of different “toys” to play with all day on the water and very reasonable rental prices! Super-friendly fun and helpful staff. Highly recommend this place for rentals for a great day on the lake!!

We rented a pontoon and got great customer service! We had a wonderful day and would definitely use again and recommend. They suggested that we do the river and it was absolutely beautiful so glad we followed their advice. Boat was in good repair they took the time to explain to us how to use everything.

Easy walk up rental, hopped right on- paid for full day (greater than 4 hrs). Boat had problems and kept dying anytime we went faster than 10 mph. Went back in early with a full tank, had been out just over four hours and unfortunately they didn’t work with us on payment. Wouldn’t let us pay for half day, certainly didn’t offer anything other than saying “it worked fine yesterday.” Kind of a bummer.

Oh darn, I hate bad reviews. But renter beware! The equipment is used and in horrible condition. Rented the paddle boards and they were inflatable- kinda. Not inflated. I’m pretty experienced in the sport and on a whim we rented these while visiting he park. Wish I had not. I fought to stand up on a partially inflated board and fell twice in the water. NOT good guys. They were in terrible condition and the paddle is used was broken and couldn’t be adjusted. Really, at $25 per hour they have paid for them multiple times over. They should be maintained!

Dont rent here anything. I pay 500,- dollar deposit and now i'm back in Holland and dont pay it back. And the also dont respons on my E mails.

I showed up at the shack around 0930 for the island float for my son and niece. I was told that it would be set up between 1030 and 1100. We came back at 1030. I decided to pay for the wrist bands then. She asked where I was from. I told her that I was visiting from CA, but that my niece lived in town. She charged me $30 per child. We than waited until just after 1300 for the island to be set up. We were told "any minute" for almost 3 hours. After the kids were playing, I was told that it was only $10 for locals. When I asked about it, she said I never mentioned that she was local. I did. Then, we would need to prove that my niece was a local, even though no one else did. My sister-in-law had joined us by then. The employee asked for a student ID as proof. When I assured her that my sister-in-law had residency proof, she told me that a refund was impossible since I used a credit card. I was ripped off without recourse, apparently. Prices and hours are not listed anywhere,I suspect so that this sort of fraud can occur.
