內部的工作人員非常清晰地解析歷史，印度尼西亞人民作為政治犯和奴隸怎樣來到西開普省。裡面的美麗藝術作品的確充分描述了這些人的鬥爭。雖然這個地方很小，但我建議你去看看。注意：在訪問之前打電話給它們。我來這裡兩次了。第一次沒開放，門上也沒有表明開放時間。

Beautiful art in a beautiful neighborhood!! Very small but packs a punch with the beautiful art that they have. If you're looking for pieces of history and culture this is the place. The artwork was phenomenal. Also got a chance to see the artist creating more beauty while there.

I am a little delayed in writing this review, but I want everyone to know what a wonderful exhibition/museum this is....Last October, I happened to be walking through Bo-Kaap and came upon this lovely place about an hour before they were closing. I was given a private tour immediately and was able to ask a lot of questions and learn a lot about the history and culture of the Cape Malay people. It is so important to preserve these stories, songs, artifacts, and traditions. I would highly recommend visiting the Cape Malay Art Exhibition in the Bo-Kaap area of South Africa.

I know nothing about Bo-Kaap and its history, but we had this little museum recommended to us. The gentleman who showed us around the museum, acting as a docent, was very knowledgeable as he has lived here forever. Although we were only planning on staying about 1/2 hour, we ended up staying for 2 hours and learning all about the history of that particular area. So worth while, and you can reach it from the Hop On-Hop Off bus, which is a bonus. DON'T PASS THIS MUSEUM BY.

The bright and beautiful houses. Each with its own unique style and color. The art on the wall on it was in those days speaks volume.

We recently spent 10 days in Cape Town and took some time to walk around the Bo Kaap neighborhood, which piqued our interest because we were seeing news stories about recent protests of gentrification and new development. As we walked up Wale Street, one of the employees at this tucked-away museum handed out a flier, and at only R50/person, we saw no reason not to stop in.
Our guide walked us through the entire exhibit, which is only two rooms, but packed full of local art and exhibits detailing the story of the Cape Malay people in Cape Town. He was exceedingly knowledgeable on the material, and structured the narrative very well, beginning with the history of the Dutch settlers, and proceeding all the way to present-day Bo Kaap.
After the formal presentation, since we were the only patrons, the employees offered us water and we were able to chat with them, learn more about the Cape Malay experience in Cape Town, and even share some information about American history as well. They were very friendly and welcoming, and it turned out to be one of the unexpected highlights of our trip.
If you're looking for a lesson on the history of Cape Town, District 6, and Bo Kaap, told through the perspective of the Cape Malay people (which differentiated it from other tours we went on), then I recommend checking out this exhibit!

We were just expecting to see art, but were pleased to learn about the rich history of the Cape Malay people. Coming here really makes you appreciate the beauty of Bo-Kaap.

Me and my sister were walking to get ice cream at the Bo Kaap area, we did not have any plans on what to do for the day apart from walk around town. We came across Ishaam, who asked if we were interested to see the Cape Malay Art exhibition. Little did we know how unique, fascinating and informative it would be. We ended the exhibition with a tasty Koeksister which was recommended. Thank you for giving us a great experience in Cape Town and giving us a wine tour the in Stellenbosch the next day. This was an exceptional service and hospitality we did not expect.

Yesterday I went to the Cape Malay art exhibition after a Bo Kaap tour and it was absolutely fantastic! Very informative and rich in culture! The guide in the exhibition was bursting with local knowledge. I would highly recommend a visit here!
