The Monumental de Nuñez stadium is one of the most important places for Latin American football, and I couldn't miss it on my trip to Buenos Aires. The stadium is looking wonderful with the renovation, and the museum has a very complete collection and a very interesting "timeline" corridor. However, the "guided tour" is not guided at all. We paid R$70 per person for the "express" visit, the guide took us to the stands and sat in a chair for 15 minutes without saying a word, just waiting for people to take photos, and led us back to the entrance.

The experience is very nice. The museum develops through a timeline from its foundation until approximately 2015. Place the events of the club in the Argentine reality of each era.
Then there is a room where you can see the cups won over the years and an art gallery (with works for sale obviously where the theme is River).
Downstairs, there is a room for the 2018 Copa Libertadores. Exciting for any River fan.
Then, with a differential amount, you can access a guided tour of about 45 minutes that takes you to the stands, the playing field and the visiting locker room.
They take photos of you that can later be purchased.
The visit is beautiful. The museum is very modern, clean and tidy. Without a doubt I recommend it!

The River Museum, which has two floors, has a very modern design, with video and audio screens and very good lighting.
It offers a tour of the club's history in which you can observe the most notable events of its entire existence.
You can see t-shirts of all time, cups, and shields, models of all their stadiums, in addition, all the trophies obtained, emblematic t-shirts and a wall with posters that contain the name of all the players who have ever worn the t-shirt of the team. club.
The international trophy room is very interesting, one of the visitors' favorites.
Perhaps the most successful is the so-called time tunnel, through which you can learn chronologically about the most important personalities of the Club and simultaneously what the country's situation was from a political, social, economic, artistic, etc. point of view.
As you go through the tunnel you can enter different spaces (stations) in which objects related to the time are displayed and an audiovisual of around 3 minutes is projected in which details of the championships obtained and the reality of the time
There is also a visit to the stadium. You visit one of the stands, the visiting locker rooms and also the playing field.
(It is not allowed to step on the grass).
We observed the museum in quite detail, so we spent around 3 hours on the visit.
It was a very good experience for us that we definitely recommend.

We went to the museum yesterday, although the entrance is expensive, the place is nice for a river fan, the visit on the court you sit in the lower stalls and then go down for a few minutes to a correlative downstairs on the court. The photos they take of you both on the field and with the Libertadores Cup cost you 10 lucas!!!! A total effort. What was a disaster was the attention at the GLORIAS bar that is in the museum, the employees were a disaster, disorganized, it is a bar-restaurant that is not giant nor is it overrun with people, I don't understand how it could take so long for everything, they brought you the hot soda and 20 minutes later the ice, we waited 1 hour for the food, they took my card to pay and since no one returned it to me I went to the cashier and they couldn't find it, a waiter had left it in his pocket. Everything disastrous. People would sit down and after half an hour of not being attended to they would leave. A shame, it's just a matter of having a good manager to organize that chaos

The museum is incredible in every way, visually striking and well lit. It has a hallway where you have a tour of all the decades of the club. This is very interesting because if you go with someone who is not interested in football, they will also appreciate articles and news from the time. This way, everyone who goes will have the opportunity to appreciate something different.
For fans, the display of the cups is a luxury.

Recommendation: if you also want to visit the museum of its direct rival Boca Juniors, please go to that one first.
If you start with the River museum, you will be somewhat disappointed with the other one. Small spaces, terrible lighting (forget about good photos) and messy.

Excellent. The only problem is that they don't let you sit on the substitute benches and the descent to the field is very small. The rest incredible

Hi, my name is Victoria.
Good afternoon, I wanted to settle a rather unpleasant situation with an employee at the Museum cash desk, apparently the girl's name is Carolina or Karina if I'm not mistaken.
It is the first time I go to the River museum with my children.
With everything it cost me to take them and with how expensive the entrance to the museum and the stadium is, it seems unacceptable to me.
the mistreatment of the staff, which I later realized was not all the same.
Not only was there denigration on the part of the girl when she saw that she did not quickly understand what she was "misexplaining" to me (because later the guides explained it to me well and it turns out that the girl did not have much idea what the tours are like)
He didn't look me in the eyes and avoided me, and in the few clarifications he made, he ignored my 15-year-old daughter and me by saying "DEAR" in a derogatory way.

When you go to a place like this and with what it costs and what it costs, you want to feel well treated, because it is the team you want.
That's why I think those things should not be allowed.

But the redeeming thing is that this girl's co-workers at the till looked at me as if telling me that they had nothing to do with it, to the point that when I walked away from the till one of them approached me to apologize for her.
What's more, they themselves told me to file the complaint here, because the complaint in the book remains in the museum and it seems that this girl is quite protected by the bosses.

PHONE FOR RIVER PEOPLE.

A real muggle catch! Absurdly expensive, they sell visits to the changing rooms and the pitch, but everything is closed! Don't care about tourists, in language! We paid 23500 pesos per person for a 45-minute visit to the museum. Deafening noise of machines! Disappointing!

Take the FULL TOUR. You can visit the stadium and enjoy the museum. RIVER Museum is very cool, there is a time corridor in which a relationship is made between historical moments (Argentina and the World) with RIVER's football moments. Cool.

The River Plate Museum has three types of tickets: entry to the museum only, entry to the museum with a 15-minute visit. inside the stadium, and the full 1h30 tour of the stadium. We did the express visit, and it was enough for anyone curious to see the stadium from the inside. The museum is not that interesting - it is very technical, and nothing is translated from Spanish.
