Você procura por eles, eles não te respondem. Você liga eles não te atendem. Você manda mensagem eles lêem mas também não te respondem. Tanto descaso que era melhor não estar no Trip Advisor, afinal, eles não precisam de nós!

El Calafate Fishing: we had a terrific day, fly fishing with El Calafate fishing. They have their own private location on an estancia with in view of Perito Moreno. The location is beautiful and we caught both perch and rainbow trout. The guys cooked up an amazing steak lunch in the fishing shack right there by the river. They provided all equipment and transportation from our hotel and one of the guides spoke very good English. I set up the trip in advance by emailing back-and-forth with the owner, Jorge. I just dumped everything through google translate.

Jorge was very accomodating with my last minute request. Fished for half a day with Christian, who is an amazing guide - not fishing himself he made sure I was going to catch and I think he was happier than me each time we landed one:). We managed several fish despite insane wind and some time needed to correct my casting so I was able to fish in this weather.

One of the less touristy things you could do in el Calafate. I’m not big on fishing, and still really enjoyed the day out. We drove to a river on a ranch in the morning, and in the afternoon, stopped by Lago Rico, from where you could see Pietro Moreno glacier in the distance without the maddening crowd. Federico, Nicholas and Augusto were extremely attentive, and cooked an amazing lunch. If you want to spend a day in peace and quiet, definitely go with these guys.

I visited Calafate with a group of friends and three of us spent a half day fly fishing on the Rico River with Federico. Federico is an amazing guide who is very passionate about fishing and speaks great English. We had two beginners and Federico spent a lot of time teaching them the basics, and helped them each catch two fish. I had a spectacular day. The fish were biting every time my fly hit the water. We had a rainy overcast day so we used nymphs, but it would be a great river for cadis and hoppers if the weather is good. The rainbow trout ranged from 12 to 18 inches and we saw plenty of good size fish. I highly recommend Calafate Fishing and Federico if you plan to fish in Calafate, Chalten or Lake Strobel.

We spent the day with Federico fly fishing. My husband had some experience but I had none. Federico was patient and gave instructions and guidance. He was not overbearing either but participated enough to be sure we caught fish and had fun. The wind was super strong but we made the best of it. Lunch was at the ranch so we could get out of the wind. Very rustic.. Food and wine were tasty and conversation with Federico turned out to be quite interesting. It's amazing how much people in different countries actually have in common. After lunch we went back out for a few more casts and then called it a day. Well worth it, great experience and great guide!

We booked the one day fly fishing outing. I fly fish a lot but my wife doesn't but we took the 2 fishers option. Our guide was Frederico and he picked us up from out hotel promptly at 8.30am and it took about an hour and a quarter to get the "farm" where the river was. Very remote and peaceful. He was very helpful to both us us and gave very good instruction. We both caught trout - all brook trout. I did rise a good brown so the fish are there. All equipment was supplied and it was good enough. The weather deteriorated at lunchtime and it poured. Fortunately ther was an old bunk house that Calafate Fishing rents from the landowner and we have lunch there. Cheese and salami starter followed by BBQ steaks - plural! And Frederico had 2 bottles of Malbec for us - a very good lunch. The weather cleared and we went back to the river for the rest of the day. We got back to the hotel at 7.15pm. A very good day out.

Frederico took my girlfriend and I out for a morning fishing on the Santa Cruz river. We are both relative beginners on fly. He was extremely helpful, gave great tips and put us onto great spots where we landed a bag full of Rainbow Trout.
He showed us some pics of huge fish if you are experienced and have a couple of days up your sleeve.

La pesca con mosca la realice por primera vez tuve la suerte de que me acompañara Federico Lima un excelente guia que puso toda su garra para me adaptara con un gran premio pesque una trucha con mosca.Mi primera trucha. Me prestaron los botines de vadeo y el warder. y el precio de la excursión fue mas que razonable. Me vinieron a buscar en una camioneta hicimos la pesca y me invitaron con cafe y facturas. Si va al Calafate aunque nunca pesco jueguese y realice una excursion de pesca y no se va arrepentir. Si no tiene equipo de pesca se lo prestan

We had a perfect day with the guys from Calafate fishing and they were so friendly and helpful. I never tried fishing before and even though managed to catch 4 fish! I can recommend this trip to everybody who likes nature and to try new things.
