So worth the visit … I nearly skipped this as didn’t sound overly exciting, but I am so happy I didn’t!
These are the best blowholes I have seen!
I was the only one there and you can get close enough to be really impressed with the intensity!
There is more than one, so make sure to walk around and see them all!
I got soaked as I stood pretty close, but you can pick where you stand or use the lookout and avoid getting wet!
Highly recommend a visit here!

Every experience in Samoa has been amazing but this was quite spectacular. I think I would reserve this experience for a windy day when there are waves in the water so the blowholes are blowing. If they aren't it would just be another sea view. But our day ticked those boxes and it was spectacular. You can't get close enough to see how many actual blow holes there are but there are numerous. If you walk across the rocks towards them you will get wet. But it is mesmerising hearing the big blow, then water shooting metres up in the air. Not much to do once you have watched them for a while, but certainly a must do on my list.

They were sure going off when we were there, loved it! Locals putting coconuts etc into the hole & they were catapulted up & split apart. Stunning coastline!

Absolutely incredible!
The view from the blow holes is worth ever tala paid. The blowholes were stunning. When I went there was only 3 other people there, very quiet, remote and just breathtaking. Highly recommend visiting.

Wild coast line with spectacular views. Very peaceful setting and easy to find as we drove around Savai’i. Very powerful blowholes made for a great experience. The viewing platforms are in poor repair and it is easy for people to ignore safety notices and venture to close to the blowholes.

Pay your 10 Tala each at the entrance and then drive down a bumpy road to the end where there is a car park area. We went 2 hours before high tide and the were blowing! Big jets of water with some good noise. Impressive to see.

A cool sight to see, however the blowholes are few and you have to get really close to some to appreciate, which mean you will most likely get wet. Only go at high tide.

Pay $5T per entrance and drive along uneven terrain quite a distance then find some coconuts and walk to the blow holes. I heard works best at high tide, fun regardless.

In the village of Taga, beautiful scenary of the ocean, driving to the end of the rocky road displays the Alofaga Blow holes, entertaining to watch and have been when its rough and subtle and is amazing to watch visited here 5 times in the last 6months at $5 per head well worth it, it pays to park the car up and walk to the end save your tires

Hi there, does anyone know what time this attraction opens to public? As we arrive in savaii around 7am and would like to start looking at this spot maybe around 8am

It would be best to check with the locals about times. There is a small charge per person. The road in doesn't seem to be closeable and is usuall manned at the entry

Hello, everyone! I have only 2 hours to stay in savai'i island. Can i travel here in 2 hours from ferry terminal? If i can, is there a taxi tour or some tour that I can visit only here? Thanks for any information!
Skrevet 7. august 2017
hello. can you repeat the question?
Skrevet 9. april 2017
Hi Steve, can you please tell me how far one has to walk to get to the blowholes? My wife struggles to walk distances and over uneven terrain. Thank you
Skrevet 9. juli 2016
You can see what happens at the blowholes from the carpark. You don't have to go all the way up to them but to experience it walk closer.
