So many genres prevail. Something for everyone, although prices were high on most artwork. Very interesting to walk around.

Lots of interesting shops and wonderful places to eat and drink. Can be a little crowded in the winter months so we go there in the 'off' season.

The 5th Avenue shopping area is a little higher end than the actual Old Town area...but not at all snooty. There is a greater variety of shops here, ranging from a very high end consignment shop to a cigar shop to some excellent Native American jewelry stores.

This is one of the oldest art and shop areas in Scottsdale. My understanding is that it will be torn down within a year to build new condos and retail space to connect to the 'waterfront' area.
Some of the venues will move and others will close. The horses will be moved to a new location and the whole street will have a much different look.

We live in Old Town and when we are in town, we walk all over 5th Avenue. A lot of really good restaurants and bars. Pay attention to who has deals when. Everything from dive bars to high end. A lot of unique stores with some pretty goofy stuff but some very high quality items too. There is more to do in these two square miles than you will probably find anywhere in the Country.

Close to the Fashion Square and canal it's a small shopping area with lots of touristy shops. Since your in the canal area, it's a "OK' area to wander for 1/2 hour or so.

Decent casino overall. We enjoyed ourselves for the most part, though I missed having a human roulette person. Digital just isn't the same.
The buffet was good, as was the service. The staff was pretty helpful.

It's a nice place to go during the day or night life. Lots of shops Indian jewelry, rugs, some antique shop. Good restaurants in the area to eat after shopping

In October, we strolled Scottsdale’s Fifth Avenue, and were surprised by so many of the changes. Several of our favorite restaurants were no longer there, and that made us sad.
Several new clubs had opened, but we are sort of beyond “clubbing.”
Still, the shopping, and the galleries were there, and a few had expanded, plus several new ones had been added.
We embraced the changes, and talked about our “losses,” but did find several new shops, that looked very inviting.
At least a few of our restaurants were still there, and apparently (by the crowds) doing well. Also, there were more contemporary studios/galleries, and especially the metal sculptures and glass arts.
This was a refreshing visit, though there was some sadness, regarding the places, which had closed, or moved elsewhere.

This is my first time visit to Fifth Avenue. Never heard of the many shops located in the mall. All quality shopping stores. Nordstrom was the largest I have ever been too. If you like to shop Fifth Avenue is a must visit.
