We enjoyed walking around looking at all the upscale art work. All the venders were friendly and helpful. We did not purchase any art work everting was to pricey. I am glad we went there it is very interesting. We were there for a few hours and we did not stop to eat.

We looked forward to getting to finally visit Sedona. Our first stop was this Replica Mexican Village. The place is absolutely beautiful on the outside. The problem however lies within! Shops selling items at ridiculous prices! Ok, I get it. Products created by so called “artists!” It’s laughable and to be perfectly honest a load of horse manure! Everything including the lunch we ate there had outrageously inflated prices! Lunch for 6 people costing $250? Really people? Give me a break! Good thing Jesus wasn’t here or he’d destroy this temple! My advice is go visit Sedona, enjoy the perfect scenery and use your photography as souvenirs and skip making purchases at these shops at all costs, pardon my pun!

Beautiful location with excellent high-end shops, restaurants, and bars. Worth a day for sure. If you want to forgo all of the tacky tourist shops for a place where you can find something nice for yourself or to bring home to someone else this plaza is where you want to go.

We were here in the late summer of 2023.
You should arrive early, there is free parking there, but these are quickly occupied.
The village is an artists village with many beautiful, small shops and galleries. You will find something for the small but also for the big wallet. Definitely worth a stroll, as the buildings and the outdoor area are also very nicely designed. There are many flowers, trees, fountains and courtyards. We ate nothing there, but shopped.:)

The first thing we did was take a two hour tour in an air conditioned van provided by Lime Green, Mike at the wheel, to get oriented to the area. A must do for sorting out our places to visit and an eye opening history lesson of the area.
Being little ole ladies, we opted out of the Jeep tours, hikes, and bicycle rides, but saw many people enjoying their adventures. Tlaquepaque was a treasure trove of shops with artisan quality offerings, gourmet food, and exquisite architecture. We could have spent another full day meandering through the magical courtyards lined with gardens and fountains.
No matter where we went, the people were always friendly and accommodating. We lucked out on the weather (around 70 degrees) most days and the tourist season was mostly over. We were told that the height of the season is terribly congested and can be quite hot.
Go for the unbelievably gorgeous sights, wide variety of activities, yummy food, lovely people, and a memorable experience!

I LOVE this place! SO much art and beauty in one spot, even if you don't buy anything but crystals. It was my first time in Sedona and I spent my 1st full day here and I'm still not sure I saw everything.

Nice town in the pics ... in real life is a mess . So many vendors and people asking for money . The major should do something about that .

Very commercial with a focus on buying and selling stuff. But some of the artists are really great. It would be cool, if there were small restaurants or streetfood around.

Had 4 kids (14, 10, 8, 5) with my wife. Shops are more upscale. If you're into more fancy crafts, jewelry and clothes then this place is great. There are some small items still. The cake store that has icecream was very tasty and friendly. Nothing bad to say, we just preferred Sedona uptown more. Little more touristy though. Son and Silver West was worth a check out too.

Any restaurants in the village allow dogs? We want to roam around and then do lunch?
Skrevet 13. oktober 2020
Yes, we are entirely dog friendly at Tlaquepaque. Please just keep dogs on a leash while walking around or eating at the restaurants.
Rincon, Secret Garden, Rene and Pump House can accommodate pets outside on patios.

Hi If you are trying to avoid any kind of crowds the mid-week days are best. Sedona is not generally busy this time of year - we get busy around the end of September and October.
Friday morning for Farmer's market is also a bit busy here - but always enjoyable.

There will be a day of the dead celebration on October 28th and I was wandering if anyone had any feedback into if it was worth going to or not
Skrevet 9. august 2017
Absolutely! There is always a lot of entertainment and some amazing costumes.

I saw a shop over the weekend that has outdoor yard art, at the very east end of the shops. They were wind sculptures. Can you tell me the name xo that I can contact them? Thank you,
Skrevet 16. mai 2016
I kept a map of Tlaquapaqui and I think the gallery is. The Inner Eye. 928-282-5250. Call them and if it isn't that shop, maybe they can tell what shop you're talking about.
