Racial Profiling? Accused of stealing? I was hitting a few of my own balls on my way home. Pro Shop Manager - immediately came out in a very hateful accusatory way saying I was stealing balls on the practice range?? I was so upset - that was the first time I ever hit balls there. He said I was constantly stealing balls? He said I must have a twin? Do we (Hispanic) all look alike? I have played on that course a few times but never just to hit balls on driving range so I am not the thief he accused me of - and do not have to steal balls. I hope others do not have to experience discrimination like I did.

Was able to play a round of golf at a local course. We decided to go here as it was the first round of the year for us 'Canucks' and anything more would have been overkill. As we flew down, we rented clubs and hoped for a good round. Unfortunately the course received a lot of rain, but actually seemed to drain quite well. My issue was with the "rentals". For the cost, I felt we were basically ripped off. I had three different brands of clubs, seven different shaft stiffness's of which three were steel shafts and four were graphite. The putter I was given had three different man made bends in the shaft the worst of which extended the angle of the putter foot out past even a comfortable angle. The bar and restaurant were closed, not told to us prior, with just a grill out at the turn and no one there. Being a 'tourist' I didn't complain, but a person in our foursome from Chicago was very pissed off at the cost / value, particularly once he saw the crap they wanted my partner and I to play with. I would say 'strike this one off your list, but i would venture most are subdivision players there anyways and they don't really give a crap for guests. This is jn the middle of the 'Corona' and was not an issue of shortage of clubs, just shortage of good customer service. Shame on you

Great golf course for us locals as well as out of town guests. Pro shop staff was very helpful and the place was clean, clean, clean.

The restaurant needs some updating. Food good and reasonable. Draws mostly older crowd but accommodates groups for celebrations. Service spotty...took awhile to get food and waitress, although friendly couldn’t cover all the tables. Could have used another person on the floor. Entertainment was oldies and brought some memories back. All in all...haven’t gone back.

This is the second time I have golfed this course. You can't beat the twilight price, and the course itself is good for a duffer like me. It was me and my sister's first time out since last summer so we knew we would be rusty. We were with my mom who is 81 and golfs at least weekly at Westbrook Village so she was good form. This time something happened that I had never heard of. We had a single golfer added to our group and put in as a fourth in our carts. So my mom drove around another golfer who was obviously much better than we were. He was super nice about everything and we were able to get the rustiness after a few embarrassing holes, but it was a different experience to say the least! That being said, it was a fun afternoon, the course was in reasonably good shape, and the weather was great. Just be prepared to have another person not only make up a foursome, but to ride in your cart with you. And also be aware that to go from the first to the second tee you have to cross a very busy street. Unnerving to say the least. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for an inexpensive afternoon of golf.

I had the dubious pleasure of meeting the owner of the Union Hills Golf Club when my husband and I were taking a brief walk on the course in front of our home. It was twilight, and the course was empty, except for one pair of golfers who we saw in the distance ahead. We turned around and were heading back when a golf cart came speeding towards us and we were immediately bombarded from both the man and his female partner. They demanded to know what we were doing on private property and threatened to have us arrested. No idea who these two were so I asked if they were the course police. I was immediately corrected and told that no, even better, we were in the presence of the golf course owner, who hailed from Windsor, Canada. As a Canadian myself, I was appalled at their behaviour. While I do acknowledge that the course is private, and we were in the wrong, what a disgraceful way to treat residents who own property adjacent to the course. There were so many better ways that this could have been handled. I would warn fellow residents, many whom I've seen walking the course after hours, that the owner is a hostile, angry person. A real Christmas Grinch! Though I have played this course many times and enjoyed it, I will henceforth go anywhere else to golf and discourage any of my visitors to patronize it, based on this very negative experience.

Nice course, greens are fine. Water on the course w/wildlife is nice, friendly clubhouse management. lots of (tree damage) on the course NEEDS attending. Reasonable rates. Fun to play. I recommend the course.

The pricing is good for this course especially in the winter months, as you would expect, which can challenger all levels of player. I have played it several times and enjoyed it, tree lined so keep it in the fairway! The service is very good as are the practice facilities. The outdoor bar/restaurant area is great in the winter, with a good view. I have had breakfast there several times, it's average. A complete upgrade of the restaurant area would be welcome.

Continuing my quest to golf all of the metro Phoenix area golf courses. I arrived for a 6am tee time. There was a bag drop area, but it was unattended and parking was pretty close. As I walked to the club house with my bag, I noticed the first cart I came to had my name on it. It was nice of them to premark all the carts with player names and have them near the parking.
The proshop was pretty typical and had all the essentials. I used the member locker rooms and found them to be really nice, even though the TV in there was from the 90's.
The course was typical flat Phoenix course with nice grooming. The tees were nicely groomed and flat, so it was easy to find a place to put your tee. The course had a lot of weeds mixed in the grass, but it was all trimmed nice. I liked the greens. They were in nice shape.
Use the bathrooms after 9 holes because I didn't see one on the back nine anywhere.
Upon finishing 18, I didn't see a starter or attendants.
Nice course for the money.

Reserved through GolfNow. Course was in good shape. Greens were true; about average pace. The pace of play was excellent - got in 18 holes in less than 4 hours. Weather was awesome - low 90s.
