I'm reviewing the theatre performance and not food. We attended the last night of the season and saw 'Girl Power' - four women covering a non-stop catalogue of top female powerhouse songs in the first half and a Spice Girl tribute after the break. All the way through they exuded immense energy, decent vocals and creative dance routines. We really enjoyed the performance

Big Disappointment

Really disappointed in tonight's show -' Musicals'. This was advertised as songs from musicals and the cost was 18euro per ticket. Having been to this venue many times before and always really enjoyed all performances - was looking forward to this with great anticipation. For 18 euro - I thought the cast would be of the usual high standard that this theatre usually provides - what an absolute disappointment. The first half were mainly children performing - they were adorable - but every song in the first half were carried out by the children - not sure if was a children's am dram club that were performing. They performed about four songs from each musical - Annie, Matilda, 13 (?) - the songs were not even the popular songs from those musicals. There was also a set from what I can only presume was an amateur dramatics group performing from Chicago - it was dreadful. The sound system was also dreadful - so some mic's were working and others not. Decided to give the second half a go - had to leave after the first couple of songs - the performances were certainly well below standard that this venue usually provides - when I can pay pay 18 euro to hear the like of Ricky Lavazza, Alexandra Avery and equally talented people at this venue, then this was severely overpriced and misleading in the advertising of the event..
The bar, food and front of house staff are excellent and really good value - but unfortunately I will think twice about returning to this venue - it does seem to be in decline. I did notice that the theatre had many vacant seats in the second half.

My fair lady. Una buena puesta en escena, buen trabajo de director , personal tecnico. La protagonista Melisa Carver no disgusta, la voz agradable, pero tecnica vocal insuficiente. El protagonista, absolutamente no cantaba y no obstante que era buen actor, esta deficiencia hizo el segundo acto eterno. Lo peor de todo, la falta de aire acondicionado y en total. Habia 2 ventiladores en las paredes.

This review relates to the bar at the theatre.
Open all day (other than Sunday) the bar is to be found just off the Constitution Square. It is the type of bar where you may just want a glass of wine whilst people watching, having breakfast or maybe a leisurely lunch. A wide choice of light or more substantial food is available - naturally including tapas.
The bar is popular with both Spanish and visitors from the rest of Europe.
Prices are sensible and you will be looked after by friendly staff - all who speak English if necessary!
All in all, well worth a visit.

Lovely little theatre with a bar and food if you require don't drink so can't talk about bar but food was lovely be aware curry was HOT🔥
Easy to find just down steps from main road just pass bus station but on other side of road
Worth booking as gets busy
We are going back in March love Fuengirola lovely holiday destination lots to do for all age groups we are 72/92 respectively

A series of weekends with great shows

The theatre is situated just off the plaza de constitution. Has a bar and food service at its entrance and offers a variety of excellent, professional shows. We’ve seen two with the this this weekend. Well worth the entrance price

Atmospheric and fun

The pantomime 2021-22 is a lot of fun. All the usual ingredients with heroes, villains, dame, jokes, ad libs, songs…. Lighting and music good. It is so much a part of a British Christmas, transplanted to Spain. All the more fun for being an amateur production. The theatre is lovely, I used to go there a few years ago with my elderly parents and at that time it was very damp and shabby, I hadn’t been back since they spruced it up. Will definitely go again to other productions.

Great fun

Went to see the Pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk and it surpassed our expectations, it was excellent. It was our first visit to the theatre and were very impressed by the professional of the cast and the way the theatre was run. We will go to another event in the future.
