Popped in on the recommendation of our landlady and glad we did. The house Rose wine was excellent and they have a fantastic range of beer, with smaller sampling glasses available as well as cans and bottles to take home. The place itself lacks atmosphere though and was cold inside with both doors open.

Visited twice during our stay in Cornwall… delicious crab sandwiches and really tasty beer. I had the Padstow pilsner and my partner had the smoky stout which he loved.. Best beer and crab sandwich of our trip and we tasted lots 🤣

The staff are a credit and always make you very welcome. It’s a lovely place to to sit and people watch with the best beer in Padstow!

I confess I already hold a grudge against them because a few years ago I had a brewery tour booked for my birthday which they forgot about (and took a bit of effort to get a refund)
But anyway. They only had one real ale on offer. It was all citra, like a typical craft beer, (lager and lime without the lime), so not to my taste, but acceptable.
Amazingly, I don't think I've ever said this before, it was TOO WARM. (Should be 11C, more like 15 I think).
The bloke tried to charge me for a pint where I had only had a half, but I queried the price (5-10, sorry 2-60 so not exactly half)
You can only pay by card. But here's the thing. there is no way to see the amount charged unless you lean way over the counter to see the screen, nothing at all visible to the customer. Nor did he offer me a receipt. (It was in fact the correct amount)
To cap it all I went to the other outlet round the corner. It was closed (11:45ish), with no opening hours notice on display. And this is the only place in town with a Camra recommendation. Gawdelpus

Thanks for taking the time to review us. Sadly, we guess you were looking for faults, because of our previous error, so you found them. We do understand your frustration with our error some years ago. We all make mistakes.
You may have a negative view of us, but as you can see from our fabulous reviews, our Team works exceedingly hard to make and sell outstanding beer. It seems a great shame you couldn’t talk to us and give us the chance to put things right.

Visited for the first time this year and the range of beers and the quality of service was outstanding. Lots of great craft options at very reasonable prices and also a wide selection of glassware options to choose from. Highly recommended for those who know a good pint of something a little different.

This is a must visit for anyone who enjoys a beer! I went with my wife, two children (5 and 4) and my in laws.
The beer tasting was great, you choose any three beers at a time which arrive on a flight board and you savour the tastes.
The drinks are in 1/3rd pints so although you get three drinks it’s still a pint so not that much to drink meaning you can have a second flight of three and still be with it!
The staff were very good, educational and passionate about the beers and drinks they make and serve and was an absolute pleasure to be there.

What an amazing place, we wanted something light with a glass of wine and we had our son with us. We had a couple of platters and the wine taster, our son had some nibbly bits which was right up our street. He would have given you 100 stars if he could.

Excellent service with a smile from Mark for whom nothing was too much trouble. We had the BEST crab sandwich I have ever tasted and a top quality pork pie. You might have to wait 10 mins or so for the food as it is freshly made, but honestly it’s worth the wait. Just delicious.

Lovely beers and great choice .
We went for the lobster and pocket rocket which didn’t disappoint.
