At the coach stop and entrance to the park, we were led through some market stalls, selling steamed corn on the cob and sweet potatoes, but we just bought some round local bread, which was tasty, for 5 yuan and half a kilo of peanuts, boiled in their skins, for about 8 yuan. There were several old ladies, at least in their 90’s, selling garlands of flowers, but I bought one for Ling, from a persuasive younger one, for 10 yuan.
Then we walked through some amazing rock formations, with stone steps all the way through, down one set of 5 steps, along a flat bit then up another 5 steps and so on. I don’t why they just couldn’t make a continuous sloping path, instead of all these steps. Some places had small water falls and stepping stones over running streams. The rock passages were sometimes only wide enough for one person to pass at a time and had roots of trees growing through the rocks, with amazing twisting shapes and felt as hard as the rock itself.

A beautiful lake with wonderful natural scenery, the color of the lake reflected with the sunlight and the colors of the trees. A beautiful view, with some small waterfalls. It produces wonderful musical sounds that feel very calm.

It has many varied names on the web and on the signposts: Tianhetan or Tianhe lake or scenic area or spot 24km from Guiyang
This site is very under-rated on the web. It is a beautiful site. We were there in Sept 2018.
From near Guiyang railway station in Zunyi Rd take the 43 bus (2cny); show the bus driver that you wish to take bus 211 which is about halfway; bus 211 or 701 at this point will take you to the Tianhetan scenic area. The whole trip takes about 1.5 hrs. Bus 211 is preferable because it is the end of the line and you can take it back at exactly the same stop.
Walk about 50m to the entrance and as you pass the large wooden edifice the tourist center is on the left where you can get a free map. The best part of the area is the waterfalls area (entry fee is 10cny; free for seniors) which is about 5-10 min walk away. There are two main waterfalls (about 20m high and 30m wide) with several other small ones. The path is paved between superb gardens of Japanese maples, gingko, bamboo, reeeds, chrysanthemums, begonias etc. Rising 100m peaks of granite/sandstone flank the waterways. There are a few escalators which have been built but not yet operating.

Fun place with a boat ride into the caverns and a zipline across the park! Beautiful water with little lakes and waterfalls. Definitely worth a visit!

せっかく行きましたが、洪水注意報が出ているとかで中には入れず、何も見れませんでした。
その代わり、周辺で建設中の公園ような所を散策しました。
行く前に営業しているかどうかを確認すべきと思います。

I have mixed feelings about this attraction. The place is very beautiful, but it is still under construction. There is certainly things to see and do, but all of the nice restaurant stores and coffee shops under development are still closed. It will be incredibly nice when finished.

Important for tourists to understand that this is a cultural center created to celebrate the regions culture and it's of large and beautiful proportions. However it's all new construction made to resemble the beautiful buildings of the past and the ideal Chinese landscapes. The only thing that is real is naturally built is the cave and the nature that surrounds the place (although a significant portion of the flora and fauna are artificial too)

This place will have boutiques of international reputation in the future. For now the electric escalators don't work, nobody speaks English. The place is bizzare in that it's full of luxury ne construction with some impressive lounge areas, yet not a single bathroom caters to westerners!

It's also shocking in that tourists are allowed to roam through the construction site with materials all over the place, people cutting and polishing granite blocks right next to customers, etc.

It's so disorganized that the cave doesn't have a gate to close it off from customers. I followed a Chinese group thinking it was the tour, only to find out a kilometer or two inside the cave that they were tourists and didn't know the path! The cave was pitch dark with no lights and we were using our iphone lights!

Fortunately for us, we came across a construction worker who took us to the exit half an hour later (it's huge!)
