A truly top-notch experience. Sid is engaging and knowledgeable. Not knowing much about the wines in the area, we left it to him to choose our destinations. Couldn't be happier with the result. Thanks to him, my wife and I enjoyed private tastings at two of three destinations. Plus, he arranged custom selections based upon our tastes.
Excellent wines, gorgeous vineyards, exceptional guide. Would absolutely book with Sid again.

Sid is better than advertised! He spoiled our group of 8 60ish women from the Midwest for 3 days. He was there to open the doors, greet you with a bottle of water, and basically treat you like royalty. We contacted Sid to explain what we were interested in and he took it from there. From trips to multiple wineries where we received VIP service to the Redwoods and the Pacific coast - Sid was a wonderful host and made our trip carefree and enjoyable. It was great to get picked up at 10:00 and know all you had to do is enjoy your day.

Syd was the best. It was the best experience I ever had visiting the wineries. Syd recommended the wineries to visit based on our preference of wines and he hit it out of the ball park. The exceptional service from the wineries treated us like VIPs.

The absolute best part of our wine tasting experience with Healdsburg Wine Tours was the personalization of our tastings. Sid was responsive and professional from the moment I contacted him and throughout the entire day of our wine tasting. I had wanted "off the beaten path" wineries and Sid delivered four very different stops that went above and beyond my expectations. It was a fantastic and memorable day. I highly recommend working with Healdsburg Wine Tours and Sid - you will not be disappointed!

We have had the pleasure of Sid's amazing service for many years. If you are thinking about a guided wine tour I could not recommend anyone more. The service, special touches and the details he encapsulates in the experience is second to none. I introduced my sister and husband to this one of a kind wine tour experience and they could not believe the personal experience with the wineries and the service Sid provided. This will not be the last time and we intend to refer as many people as possible for this experience.

This was something I’d never done in Wine Country before. It never occurred to me but the wisdom became readily apparent after two stops. One-someone else is driving and you are there to taste, if not outright, drink wine. Car was roomy, comfortable and well driven. Two-The tastings were arranged in advance and we were expected at the wineries with personalized service as opposed to the trough style at so many places.
A fantastic day. Go splurge.

Healdsburg Wine Tour is the epitome of service and ethical business practice. I booked a tour as a last minute present to my husband, giving Sid only five days to arrange a plan for an eight-person wine tasting day. He called me minutes after I emailed him the initial request and immediately took all of the planning worries off my plate. We were so excited! BUT THEN, Mother Nature and PG&E threw us a curveball. Power outages cause local schools to close, which meant childcare became a problem. When I asked Sid if cancelation was a possibility he was completely understanding and assured me that he would refund the deposit. When fire stuck the county two days later, causing mandatory evacuations throughout the town of Healdsburg, Sid emailed me to be sure my family and I were ok. I have not yet met Sid in person, nor have I experienced a wine tour he arranged, but I can tell you that Sid is a professional who CARES. Knowing this, along with reading the glowing reviews from people who did get to experience the wine tour, makes me sure I will be rebooking.

Linda took us to three different small, independent wineries. Each one was different than the other and the wine and hosts were fabulous. Linda was very gracious and told us about the landscape and history of the area and sent us home with Zinfandel grapes and fresh rosemary.

Sid arranged four personalized wine tours/tastings for us. The wines and the graciousness of our hosts was fabulous and we learned so much about wine and its production! Sid was great- a true gentleman and so knowledgeable about Sonoma. We had a memorable day and will call on Sid when we return to Sonoma. Thank you, Sid!

Sid took us to three different wine experiences that were all interesting and beautiful. I say "wine experiences" and not "wineries" because the very first location of the day was the private home of a family of wine makers and consultants. We had a delicious tasting with a small food pairing and were gifted one of the bottles we had sampled at the end! We went to two additional wineries where we were given private tastings (with food pairings) and tours. At every location, there was no pressure to buy wine. (And all the tastings were included in the cost of the tour.) We also had a really nice picnic lunch that Sid picked up for us (we had to order and pay for that separately). Bottom line, if you're looking for someone to take care of every detail for you, this is the tour to take. It's not cheap, but you're paying for a top-notch concierge service, transportation, and access to wine experiences that wouldn't be available otherwise.

Most wineries have limited hours in the afternoon and 4-4:30 PM closing times are common.
