Took a walk before checking into our cruise. Nice area, but not enough food places for a quick bite. Have to pay an entrance fee to the queen Mary, we were hoping to just go into the bar and have a drink and small bites. Ended up just walking to the end and coming back and checked into our cruise. The main dock/shore attraction was across the water, too far to walk that distance.

We expected only another "yup we're doing a lil round thru the harbor, see some ships from the distance and that's it" kind of harbor tour, however this was a completely different experience. We took the evening tour, which is extremely scenic at sunset, looking at the huge commercial vessels and the harbor buildings diving into the changing yellow-to-red colors of sunset. The tour itself is provided by the Harbor authority, the tour guide is an actual employee of the Harbor and has therefore excellent background knowledge about the installations and processes at the harbor. We can fully recommend this harbor tour.

The best way to appreciate the work and art of US' latest port is to take a guided tour over the Port of Long Beach 🌊. See and learn what the port is doing to contribute to sustainable resource use and contribute to America's economic growth. Best is to go on a tour with a guide. See Long Beach from a different angle.

Long Beach to miejsce w którym każdy chce być chociaż raz w życiu! Ja już byłam i nie wrócę! Pustkowie, ani jednej restauracji ani jednej kawiarni... Dwie budy ze smierdzącymi hamburgerami. Plaża szeroka, ładna ale brudna i zaniedbana. Toalety wyglądają jak sprzed 40 lat! Ogromnie się rozczarowałam!

First up, this wasn't some 'ship spotting' or boring historical tour.....
This a FREE 90-minute tour of the Port of Long Beach onboard a harbour cruise vessel, complete with commentary given by Port employees.
I was so impressed, and enjoyed it so much, I'd really consider going again when friends and family come to town.
To go, you need to 'bid' for tickets/places on the POLB website a month in advance. I'd guess there were about 50 people onboard the boat (which has refreshments/ bathrooms/ etc onboard too).
It's suitable for people of all ages, and there are tables inside and outside so you could enjoy a picnic if you're prepared.
Parking is also FREE if you park in the car park in front of the Parkers Lighthouse - boat leaves from Pier 9.

Glad me and hubby got to find this place. If you'd like to do something to kill time I'd recommend coming here! Very cheap, educational. We were excited to just be on a boat in the water!

Very informative with the history of the L.B. port. Mid-day tour that was surprisingly relaxing. Went a little long but started a little late, so i guess that evens it out. Kids free under 5, so thats a plus. All in all, it was nice.

Anytime you are on the water is amazing. If you combine it with a tour of the harbor and learning more about the Port of Long Beach, it's past amazing.
You need to plan ahead for the tour. Registration for general tours open the first Monday of each month at noon preceding tour dates

Harbor Breeze Long Beach Harbor Cruiseには色々なコースがありますが
私はDock2から出航の 45 MIN NARRATED CRUISE に参加しました
料金は 通常大人12ドルのところ、私はシニア62歳以上10ドルでした
連れ合いは50歳代なのですが二人ともシニア料金にしてくれて20ドルでした、とても得をした気になりました
子供は、Children Under12 $6.00 Under5 Ride Free $0.00
詳しくは 562-432-4900 と案内看板に書いてありました
船の名前は CAROLINE キャロライン号
平日の昼間でとても空いていて、２階席でゆっくり座ることが出来ました
真っ白で豪華な大型クルーザーで、こんな豪華クルーザーにわずか１０ドルで乗る事が出来るなんて、日本ではなかなか味わえない、リーズナブルプライスレートで大満足でした
他にホエール・イルカを見る数種類のクルーズがありますが、時間のない方にはおすすめです
出航すると一頭のアザラシが桟橋で甲羅干しをしていて、見送ってくれました
海に出ると右手にクインメリーがあり、ロングビーチ全景が見えます、出航後、暫くするとカモメが沢山現れてクルーザーと並走して飛んでいました、きっと餌をくれる人がいるのでしょうね、私の事をズート見ていて何度も目が合い「なにか食べる物くれよと」と言われているような気がしました、
海に浮かぶブイには所狭しとアザラシが甲羅干しをして寝ていて、階段もないのに、どうやって上るのか不思議でなりませんでした

We enjoyed this little tour of the bay, with the captain providing interesting information about the area and some good views of sealife and inland.
The boat's facilities are basic but it's a short trip and only $12 each.

the exact location and prices, also what is recommended to bring, jackets food etc, thank it looks excellent
