With input from my wife and I, Katie prepared a wine tasting schedule with several outstanding wineries. She was very personable and even more knowledgeable about the Paso Robles region and the local wineries. We highly recommend Katie. If you schedule an afternoon with her, you will enjoy your time with her and your wine tasting experience!

Celebrating , in Californias unique Paso Robles wine country. After 5 trips here we have watched the number of wineries grow to over 300 and all of them experimenting. Our visits, katie@nichewinetours.com, were to a mix of very small boutique, and 1 big name.Think a gravel drive and sitting with the owner/winemaker in front of his winery or in one case at his kitchen tableland a lunch at a gorgeous bigger winery. If you're looking for a wine tour that takes you to the high production wineries where all the tour busses go, Niche is probably not what you're looking for.
We have wine tasted in Paso many times over the years and are pretty familiar with the area, or so we thought. We had asked Katie to take us to some of the smaller production, more intimate wineries and she did not disappoint. We went to 4 wineries that we had never gone in the past.
The 1st was Guyomar, where we sat at the owners dining table and sampled some wines while enjoying the beautiful view from their hilltop home.
Next stop was Niner, a little larger winery with a beautiful tasting room and some really nice wines. Katie had scheduled lunch there which was fantastic.
We finished the afternoon at Rangeland and Willow Creek Wine Collective, both smaller production wineries but with really friendly proprieters. Katie is a sommelier herself and knows the locals so we were able to have a very personal wine tasting experience.
Katie focuses on smaller groups, so if you're looking for a more personal experience, she is the one to tour with.

Katie set up a wonderful day for us. We visited several boutique wineries and had an amazing time. Our day was seamless from start to finish. She chose wineries that catered to our favorite varietals. I would highly recommend Niche to friends and colleagues!

Katie put together 2 wonderful days of tastings and tours. She has excellent wine knowledge and can really hone in on taking you to interesting and fun wineries.
We were out in the vineyards tasting grapes and talking about pruning and netting and all things wine. She included Kiler Olive Oil which also quite fun and informative.
Wines were great, wineries were great and Katie was great!

Great day with Katie touring unique wineries in Paso Robles! Katie is very knowledgeable and connected to the Paso Robles wine community. If you want a tour, not just a driver, schedule an afternoon with Katie and Niche Wine Tours. She knows the wines, wineries and the people.
We visited 5 wineries, starting at Le Cuvie with a fantastic food/wine pairing and ended with the laid back Zenaida winery. What a fantastic day.

Katie made our first visit to Paso Robles unforgettable! We asked her to show us wineries we wouldn't be likely to find by ourselves, and she did just that! She built a custom schedule to four vineyards. Three of them were family wineries and the wine was excellent at all four. We recommend spending a day with Katie and will definitely utilize Niche Wine Tour again in the future upon our next visit to Paso Robles!

Fantastic personalized service by Katie who curated our itinerary based on the feedback we provided. We spent two days with her. She's organized, knowledgeable and very likable. You hire Katie and you get Katie. Her operation is small, and she's very hands on - hence personalized service.
Fortunately we scheduled her 2 months ago because the weekend we were in Paso turned out be when they held their wine festival.
As a well-respected local sommelier, she provided insights to wines, vineyards and general area. So much more than a tour guide.

Katie was great! Perfect mix of knowledge and fun. She was there to offer insight, advice and thoughts when needed but didn't dominate the conversation.

What is the cost for a wine tour with Niche Wine Tours? There are two in our group.

Katie is worth the expense. She is one of the only tours taking you to off the beaten path locations instead of the large producers in the area. We paid $500 for entire day. 5 stops.
