DiabloPaso was recommended by another winery, and we were not disappointed. This is primary Spanish style wine, and not being familiar, we didn't really know what to expect. We did a tasting of all reds, and I have to say, they are all terrific. We had our favorites, of course, with mine being the 2021 Garnacha and my wife preferring the Tempranillo.
We were the only patrons there during our visit, and we had an absolutely awesome one on one experience!

Ok ambience. Services was friendly but would have liked more information about the wines. Wines were a bit to heavy for my taste.

Small family-owned winery operated by Enrique and Nora Torras, who produce hand-crafted Spanish varietals wines. (A varietal wine is a wine made primarily from a single named grape variety, and which typically displays the name of that variety on the wine label). Spanish wine is one of my favorite wines, here they produce a good Garnacha, tempranillo, and the excellent Garnacha/Graciano/tempranillo blend called El Macho.
All the wines have a gentle taste with a smooth body, cannot say enough good things about this place, excellent service and excellent wine, if you are in town, do pay them a visit.
We will certainly be coming back again.
TIP: Do try his Albariño it is delightful, you can taste the love that went into its making.

By chance we stumbled upon Enrique Torres's wine tasting bar as we awaited our restaurant reservation nearby. We're glad we did!
The tasting line up included several of Enrique's Diablo Paso wines. We liked each of them, but the Tempranillo really hit the mark for us, and we knew we had to take some home.
The experience was made all the richer by the fact that it was Enrique himself pouring his own wines with such knowledge and enthusiasm. It was especially interesting to hear his story of learning and growing up in the wide trade, and now making his own name. I'm sure we'll be hearing more about him in the future.
It was especially gratifying to hear, the next day, from our host at another winery that Enrique's tasting bar was her recommended stop on any Paso Robles wine tour. In fact, she had a bottle of his Tempranillo with her that she has just purchased!

There are over 200 wineries in Paso and counting. But very few producing Spanish Varietals. Diablo Paso produces hand-crafted Spanish Varietals: Albarino, Grenache, Tempranillo. Also Rose and a Port. Great way to taste the great flavor profile of these classic Spain and Portugal Varietals. The warm Paso days and cool nights produce a wonderfully complex blend of flavors. Enrique (winemaker) and Nora Torres and their staff will make you feel welcome in the downtown Paso Robles tasting room. Both inside and outdoor seating available and lots of other shops/restraurants nearby. We loved the wines so much, we joined their wine club!

Went in here after trying another bar which was not a good experience
Mallory was immediately welcoming and friendly. The tasting deal was to try 7 wines! She explained lots about the wines, the grapes, this winery. Her enthusiasm and knowledge was great. I bought 4 of the wines. Being on my own it was goid to feel so comfortable and to have such a fun time. Thankyou!!!

We stopped at this Tasting Room while wandering through town. The tasting room is in the heart of central Paso. It is spacious, comfortable, and attended by friendly and helpful staff. Diablo Paso focuses on Spanish varietals. We found all the wines tasted very likable. The Albarino was fresh and crisp, with lots of fruit. The grenache (Garnacha) was full-bodied, smooth, with excellent follow through. The 100% tempranillo would compare favorably with Spain's better wines and the red blend was very enjoyable. We tasted two of the wines again at dinner and, they were even better with food.

We love Diablo Paso wines - I think Enrique is the only wine maker in the area that focuses exclusively on Spanish varietals. Normally I don't drink much white wine, but Diablo Paso's Albariño is exceptional. Enrique's Tempranillo is the best we’ve had outside of Spain! The Garnacha, Rose and their Macho blend round out Diablo Paso's line up of fantastic wines. If you are planning a visit to Paso and want to have an very unique and fun experience definitely check Diablo Paso out!
