There’s no water to wash your hands! Why? I come here so often and the sink is not working. Why? Why? Anaheim parks and hiking trails are number 1

After parking at Ryan Bonominio parking lot for over a year now I decided to park in a residential neighborhood along Mt Rubidoux Dr. Big mistake. Never had an issue at Bonominio but the one time I parked in the residential neighborhood I had my car broken into. The drivers side glass was smashed. Only a few stupid things were taken that mean nothing to me but now I have to have the window replaced. The area seems nice but on further reflection it is an isolated area. The people that live there all seem to have garages so I assume that theives think the only cars parked on the street are people that are going to walk Mt Rubidoux. They know you will be gone for a while. It is like putting a large sign on your car that says, be back in an hour!!!! Back to Bonominio for me.

Paved incline trail with no shade but excellent view of the city and surrounding, and end of trail reward (see photo). Not recommended for summer.

We took an Uber to the trailhead from our hotel, then hiked up the paved trail. Great views. We managed to walk about 6 miles, after we hiked back to the hotel.

One of my favorite local hiking spots!!!! I love Mt. Rubidoux and have been coming since I was a kid, it’s a relaxing hike with a difficult and easy trail. I’ve personally never had issues with anyone’s dogs or excessive poop left behind. Last time I was there it was partially closed for maintenance of the trails. Hopefully when I go back it’s fully open.

A popular place to hike in Riverside. Not difficult but challenging. However there are many people with dogs that are not on a leash. Constantly avoiding intrusive dogs. Not everyone loves dogs so keep them from annoying other people. The other issue is parking. There is a parking lot at Ryan Bonaminio Park with safe and close access to the trailhead. There is also parking at Carlson Park with easy access. Parking in other peoples neighborhood is not a very good option. I parked in a neighborhood off of Mission Inn Ave and came back to my car to find a note that basically pointed out to me that it was not a parking lot and that the people living in the area did not appreciate all the noise, litter and obstruction of the roadway. I was not insulted as I had lived in a similar situation before moving to So. Cal. I was constantly irritated that although I lived there I was unable to park on many occasions due to other people who did not live in the area taking up all the parking spots. I have always used Ryan Bonaminio Park since then and I am sure the residents would appreciate you making a small effort by parking there and not in their neighborhood. Other than that I use the park every week and mostly enjoy it. There is sometimes a lot of dog feces.

Excellent option for hiking in Corona. Spent like an hour going up and down. Nice views of the town and mountains nearby.

The location is absolutely beautiful. But, the trail is filthy and disgusting. It is covered in dog feces both on the paved path and unpaved areas. Hikers can’t walk a few steps on the trail without having to maneuver around dog poop. Even the path/street (Tequesquite Ave) that leads to the entrance of the trail is covered in mounds of dog feces. The amount of dog waste on this trial both dry and fresh makes it one of the worst location for a hike. Irresponsible dog owners ruined this trail.

This park is very well maintained and was an absolute joy to explore. I was in the area for a business trip and I had a 5 hour break so I decided to hike to the summit and it turned out to be the highlight of my trip. The views are breathtaking and the entire path is paved. When I got to the top there were some locations where you could go off the path safely. Take a look at my pics and you'll see why this hike is worth the trip!

Not a hard walk at all. It’s basically an urban trail at a minor incline. Love the graffiti everywhere. Must’ve been really cool back in the day before it was ruined by people.

Where is the entry (entries) to the trail(s)?
Skrevet 20. mars 2018
There are two entries. One is on 9th Street and the other is on Glenwood Drive. Best parking is at Ryan Bonaminio Park. Walk up Glenwood to entry.

when did this get paved Gary? I'm trying to look online but don't see an answer
Skrevet 22. januar 2018
There is the paved road and then there are paved paths and some paths that are not paved. The paved road is used at the 4th of July to get fireworks and firetrucks up the hill.
Skrevet 23. januar 2018
Yes, it is open to the public everyday, every holiday. I walk it very often. Dogs allowed (on leash) and there is also a park at the bottom of the hill to park. Very nice area and safe as well. I live in the area.
