McCoy was the man - best experience in Napa hands down. Amazing wine, personalized tour and the vibes were immaculate. Will be back!

I went here because I watched a bunch of tik toks and though the garden is nice to wander around in, and they have the wraparound porch thing I just wasn’t impressed as much as some of the other ones that we went to that week. The wine we tasted, wasn’t really my favorite, but you did get to wander around the garden with it, so that was nice! as for service they were just OK. Again, I went here because of all the videos I saw, but I would not go again.

We had the garden experience. Beautiful day and peaceful views. Friendly service and good wine. Bonus of a small tray of potato chips, crackers, and goat cheese. They made it easy to purchase just a bottle.

Frogs Leap Winery is a beautiful working farm! This is obvious when you drive up. The entry hall is expansive and beautifully curated. We were welcomed to The Frog Pond in the center of the courtyard. Michele greeted us with wine and a very warm demeanor. She pointed out a long table in the edge of the courtyard where the workers and owners were finishing up lunch, shouted “hellos”. Michele took us through a building filled with barrels and stainless drums and explained their processes. From there we were led to a porch overlooking the gardens to finish our tastings. The Merlot was our favorite of the day! At the end of our tasting we were invited to stroll the garden before our departure. Absolutely lovely grounds as well as Michele! She was perfect for us! Very lovely and knowledgeable!

We had hired a car for the day to drive out of San Francisco to Napa Valley and found this vineyard online, we certainly weren’t disappointed. The team were really accommodating (we were running late and they allowed us onto a later tour) and the tasting was really well done, we even had an opportunity to taste some wine from their collection as this had been opened on this day for the owner‘s lunch. I would have enjoyed a slightly longer tour, however this isn’t a criticism - 10/10 here, and we will visit again if we are in Napa.

Allucinante. In più di 100 degustazioni effettuate in tutto il mondo non mi è mai successa una cosa del genere.
Io chirurgo e mia moglie anestesisti dall’Italia siamo stati messi alla porta perché eravamo con i nostri figli senza alcuna spiegazione, senza alcuna possibilità di contrattazione, senza nessuna alternativa e soprattutto addebitando i costi della degustazione. Allucinante come due turisti italiani possano essere trattati negli USA. Questa cosa non sarebbe mai potuta succedere in Italia a turisti italiani. Evitate se potete

John Williams runs a super winery - beautiful gardens, barn yard animals and especially delicious wines. The location in Rutherford is bucolic and the overall ambience is elegant yet earthy

We had THEE best time on our wine tasting, hosted by Michelle. She was a fabulous host; extremely knowledgeable about the property, the region, Frog's Leap's wines and wine in general. Not the dull, boring kind of knowledgeable. She was witty and fun and we had the best time chatting with her.
The property is STUNNING as well. The gardens and landscaping were immaculate. Will definitely visit again on our next trip. Crossing my fingers Michelle will be working on our next visit.

Tasting was set on the wrap around porch of the main house overlooking the gardens - one of the most perfect setting for a tasting that we have seen. Informative and timely tasting - nice they supply a few snacks - not sure why all wineries don't do that - makes tasting the wine more pleasant. wines were really good - walking around the gardens after the tasting with a splash of our favorite wine was a nice touch. Relaxing and fun experience. Well worth the $45 tasting fee

About 1.5 hour, but that requires an appointment specifically for that and a reserve tasting. I did not do this part of the winery visit, opting instead just for the tasting.

Is it ok to bring 2 kids with us for the Garden/Cellar Tasting? We were also thinking of bringing along a picnic.

We had an adult with our group who was not drinking. I don't think they charged her at all to follow the tour with the rest of us, so they would probably let your kids come.
Also, you will be taken through areas where there are vats and industrial equipment...I would be concerned for the safety of younger children going through these sections.
It was a great tour...very interesting for us, but again, maybe not for little kids.
