This is the Pillars Of God
There are 8 pillars and a cross.
It reminds to think of Jesus. He loves us!
We walked to get there and it was amazing!
A must see!

There were some chairs here. I stood up for better pictures.
There were seven pillars and a cross.
It was not hard to get there. We walked.
Truly beautiful! Wow!

Such a unique place to meditate and take in nature. It is on private property so ask for permission and be respectful.
There was someone on the grounds and I was able to obtain permission to proceed. They confirmed that it’s a popular place. Quick walk from the street to the pillar.
Beautiful views of the lake as well. I have T-Mobile and I had service. Google maps got me there. I would recommend downloading the map before u head to the area as the reception was spotty.
Enjoy

I visited this spot last Thursday 8/2/18 with my hiking buddy. My mind was blown. A non-denominational place of worship and meditation in the Socal wilderness. At the center of this ampitheater is a Cross representing the inner Christ. Surrounded by 6 pillars on both sides representing the 12 apostles, or signs of the zodiac, if you prefer. A.K. Mozumdar founded the Christian Yoga Society and had a vision to establish a place of worship for people of all denominations, nay, for people of all religious backgrounds, for the inner Christ goes by other names in other religions, the Atman, the Buddha nature, Adam Kadmon, etc.
If you're seeking a place to get away from Babylon (LA) for a day, and do a little meditation in the wilderness, this is the perfect spot. A.K. Mozumdar had a vision of opening this place up to the public, but I think it's private property. So be advised. If you pull up to the entrance of the Mozumdar campground, park you're car to the right, behind the bush. To get to the spot, you have to walk downhill on some sketchy terrain so wear some good hiking boots, and be prepared to walk back uphill.
This place has some real energy, a truly sacred site. I can't thank my buddy enough for showing me this hidden gem. Now I have a place to get away once a month and practice some Gnostic meditation. I want to get involved with opening this place up to the public, as was the vision of the founder. Anyways that's the impact it had on me. If you decide to visit, I hope you have the same transformative experience I had.

I had the most amazing experience last week in San Bernardino. I found a hidden gem tucked into Cedarpines Park. Camp Mozumdar has been closed to the public for decades but in May of this year Stanley and Nancy Logsdon started doing a tour and hike on the first Sunday of each month. It consists of the Pillars of God, Inspiration Point at the Holy Grounds and the Temple of Christ. This changed my life. It’s one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had.

My Uncle took me here a long time ago. Probably 20 years ago. He knew of it when it first started. When we went it was closed to the public but we just walked in. The Pillars of God are in a beautiful setting & over look the empty mountains. There is a strange force that looks over the land and the temple? Its hard to describe but something about this place felt strange. I can't really put a finger on it. It felt like some brain washing juju wrapped up in some type of religious cult happened here? I highly recommend coming to see the Pillars of God. It's worth the mission.

Last I heard, the tours had been suspended. Have they resumed yet? If so, when are they conducted?

This spring and summer there will be several opportunities to explore the nature, history and beauty of Camp Mozumdar, one of the hidden gems of the San Bernardino Mountains. Camp Mozumdar, which in the beginning was known as Mozumdar Temple, was conceived and constructed in the 1920s by Indian Prince A.K. Mozumdar. Because the camp is on private lands, it has been closed to the public for decades.
Recently, Cedarpines Park residents Nancy and Stanley Logsdon and Camp Mozumdar’s Director, Juan Morales, have joined together to present a once-a-month hike to explore the unique temple (which bears a striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal) as well as the area surrounding Camp Mozumdar. The one and a half hour walk, on the first Sunday of each month at 11 a.m. beginning May 6, will include a hike on the trails.
The grounds were severely damaged during the 2003 Old Fire, which burned several buildings and the underbrush throughout the property, which has been virtually unused since. These walks are intended to reintroduce the community to the 117-acre property and the fascinating history of Prince Mozumdar, his philosophy of uniting all the Christian religions, the how and why it was built, and the flora, fauna, and birds that inhabit the camp.
To take the tour, meet at the Pillars of Christ Amphitheater at 11 a.m. An RSVP is not necessary, but calling (909) 589-0775 will help the Logsdon’s know how many to expect. Mozumdar’s Temple Of God will be open for touring the interior.
Visitors will be walking at least a mile on this round-trip tour around the grounds and will also be able to see Inspiration Point at the Holy Grounds that overlooks Silverwood Lake. Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and folding chair so they may relax at the end of the walk and enjoy the peacefulness that drew Prince Mozumdar to this location decades ago.
To get there, drive to the end of Mozumdar Road in Cedarpines Park and take the left driveway to Mozumdar, follow signs to the Pillar Of Christ Amphitheater and park there in the dirt lot. Walk up to the amphitheater to get the directions for the tour.
Children are invited if accompanied by parents to watch over them. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are also invited (with poop bags in tow). This beautiful location, off the beaten path, has been off-limits for years. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the solitude and be welcomed by camp operators.
Hi, Debbie. What would you like to know about this attraction? was this very hard to get to? I'd like to take my parents this weekend but they are over 80 years old
