We stayed for two days in one of the cabins with our 5&12-year-old, plus friends in the other cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This farm is off the beaten path, and is a working farm so don't expect little house on the prairie. It's full of great adventures for the kids. The owners are wonderful, and we were welcomed by many cats each morning, including a few litters of kittens. One kitten had been adopted by the mum cats (much younger and not very well) so we took him home which the farmer OK'd. An extra tick to the magical adventure here!
The farm is not too noisy in the morning, and there are many barns full of old vehicles and machinery. There are also many types of animals from breeds of pigs, cows, horses, hens, turkeys, kittens, Pheasants, and deer. All is great condition.
We had great fun working the huge BBQ and cooking dinner with our friends. The meat is delicious.

We booked into the ranch on a road trip between LA and San Francisco for 3 nights and I wish we’d stayed longer!!!
The buffalo roaming are an amazing site and Felicia is the most wonderful host. She gave us the ranch safari and feeding the pigs was a highlight.
We stayed in the Buffalo Bungalow and though small, it is rustic, gorgeous and the best place we’ve ever stayed. It’s so peaceful and idyllic - an absolute gem!!

This Ranch is a hidden gem in our community. They have all kinds of exotic animals such as water buffalo and Jacobs sheep, as well as a mock western town.
They have a stage that hosts 'swing dances' every couple of months.
Family owned and operated. The host will make sure you get the 'ranch feel experience' you are looking for. They have cute cabin housing that can accommodate families. Each house has a name such as the 'Buffalo House' or the 'Deer Den'.
Get venue for that outdoor western wedding, family reunion weekend, or just a quiet country get away.
You can hike the hills. Hire the guide to do a wild pig hunt (for the experienced shooter), or just 'get back to nature'.
If you have not taken the time to seek out this gem in the country, you should.
Meals can be provided if arrangements are made a head of time for a day visit.
If you are there for the weekend (or longer) meals are usually a part of your package unless other arrangements have been made.
They are 45 mins from town, so no Taco Bell or Mc'Ds close by.

Great Place to Hunt Wild Pigs! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. They have furnished cabins and all the amenities of a modern ranch.

I was looking for a relaxing yet rustic outdoor experience. Lazy Arrow offered me all sorts of activities like hiking, horseback riding, camping, and my favorite exotic animal viewing. I stayed in one of the cabins on the ranch (it had a kitchen bath room with shower and comfy beds). This spot has become my official outdoor vacation spot in California. When I need to get away and have a "one-with-nature" experience as well as feel safe with access to essential (for me) amenities, Lazy Arrow provides just that. The ranchers were very friendly and hospitable.I sincerely recommend a stay at Lazy Arrow Adventures a must for those looking for an adventure. Recommend bring some good hiking boots or running shows or cowboy boots to walk around ranch and the hills. Wild flowers bloom in the spring (and I hear baby animals start popping up during the spring as well).
