We have a lot to offer in the Park for all ages including the scenic views from the bridge. We offer an Early Bird ticket, 9 am t0 10 am or an End of Day ticket, one hour before the Park closes. It is available at the Park only. This ticket is $26.00 for adults (May 1- Sept 30th) $21.00 for adults ( Oct 1st- April 30th.) If you book your tickets online we offer discounts, also a military discount, National Park Service passholders and others. Due to our location and lack of city amenities, our operating expenses are similar to that of a small town. Many guests do not know that we have our own water treatment plant in order to have potable water in the park. We do try to keep our prices in line with similar attractions, despite these added costs. Thank you for visiting us and sharing your experience; we appreciate your feedback.

I am so sorry your trip to Royal Gorge Bridge and Park did not meet your expectations! We do close in April at 5pm. If you are in the Park before 5pm you can stay until 6pm if the sun is still up. I apologize that you were not a where of this. It is not policy to cut staff to save cost and we apologize if someone mistakenly told you this. The gondola must have closed earlier because of a high wind. When the wind reaches 35 miles per hour, the manufacture of the gondola states we must close for the safety of our guests and ride attendants. You could have your tickets validated at the Visitor Center when you left and returned the next day for the gondola ride and anything else you missed.

I apologize for your unfavorable trip to the Park and Bridge. Some Guest choose to purchase the Early Bird ticket 8am-9am to avoid the crowds and enjoy just the bridge. If you choose, you can stay in the park as long as you wish and enjoy the general admission attractions that open at 10:00 am; like the aerial gondola, children's playland and Plaza Theater. The Plaza Theater offers a video presentation about the bridge and a historical exhibit. Our extreme rides and Via Ferrata also start then. Thank you for leaving us review and thank you for visiting!
