Today we went fishing on the Hookem and Cookem Charter boat.& tonight we are cooking dinner with fresh fish 🐟 Thanks to Captain Ariel, We caught Big Kingfish and a Tuna...my 3 friends and myself enjoy a half day of fun.these guys know how to find fish...we will be back 😀

To start with it was a slow day fishing and that was no ones fault. What bothers me and other passengers was watching the Captain fish by himself from the upper deck and catch fish over paying passengers shoulders while we just watched and got nothing. Very frustrating.

Visiting Bethany Beach and wanting to take a friend's young daughter fishing. Stopped in Hook'em & Cook'em for advice, and some fishing supplies. After confessing that although I considered myself a so-so fisherman, I did not have a clue what would be the best bait and tackle for a young person to Catch A Lot Of Fish in the area. They took the time to describe several alternatives, and consideration of local fishing spots, and then recommended what to buy. With a very light rod with a three hook arrangement, on the very first cast (true story) she pulled in three fish. All very small, but for her it was a major success. Thank You Hook'em & Cook'em, you are the best.

We were in Bethany Beach for vacation and spontaneously wanted to do some fishing. This place offered a great choice of fishing gear for rent and for sale. It was fun!

There were about 50 people on this head boat. This is a great boat for dads, moms and young kids. If you're an avid fisherman and are looking for 4 hours of fun fishing, this probably isn't the trip for you. We fished for croakers for 4 hours, we caught a lot, but it wasn't what I expected. We were told we would fish for flounder unless the weather was bad. I did not consider the weather bad, a little rocky. It just wasn't a lot of fun for someone looking to fish for something larger than croaker. Your kids will probably love it.
Dress comfortably and take a long sleeve shirt in case it rains or a rain jacket.

We were a small group staying nearby. No one had fishing experience and this place provided rods and instruction as part of the 4 hour charter.
The website noted that the fishing conditions weren't prime yet, due to currents of some sort. But as we were a group of total newbies, we were just as excited about going out onto the ocean far from shore as we were to discover fishing.
The charter departed right on time. We went to several spots to fish and everyone caught at least one fish - we think we had a ringer with us, judging by the 6 fish she caught. We hooked a flounder but it was undersize and had to be returned to the ocean.
You can take your fish home and clean them yourself or walk over to the shop and have them clean the fish for you for a very small fee.
This was a lot of fun and we enjoyed eating our fresh fish quite a bit.
