I just completed my Open water certification with Aquatic Ventures, and I can only confirm all fantastic reviews that made me decide going with them in the first place. I've always been afraid of water so the most important thing for me was feeling SAFE, and from the day I met with Kary, I knew that I was talking to the most experienced professionals, committed to teach us how to dive safely while having fun. The first minutes under water were very challenging for me, my instructor Zee was phenomenal and beyond supportive, he calmed me down and I had my first ever 4 dives feeling both excited and proud of myself! I can't wait to return for my next diving adventure! If you are wondering where to get certified, look no further! They also donate a portion of each certification course to support combat-wounded veterans through diving. Thank you, Aquatic Ventures!

I always have a great experience at Aquatic Ventures. The instructors are outstanding, my open water certification class was led by Moe and Alex back in July, 2023, they are both amazing! They are very knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about diving. They made me feel safe and confident throughout the entire process. The equipment is always well maintained, and the dive sites are close by. I am now obtaining my Nitrox certification with them as well and will continue to use this shop for all future needs (dives or learning).
I don’t want to leave Kary and Evan out as they are always around to help with any questions. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to learn and dive with the best

Great team at Aquatic ventures, they made my family and I feel very comfortable all throughout our training. Very helpful, knowledgeable and patient with the lil ones. Definitely recommend for anyone thinking about getting their Scuba certifications.

I took the Open Water Diver Course with Alex and Monica, and had a great experience. I was exceedingly satisfied with the course and the instruction. The instructors go above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable experience and have everything you need. The course is a great value, you are getting quality training for a good price. Would recommend to anyone looking into taking courses or are looking for a great dive experience.

Thank you for the Great review. We have goals of great customer service, and to produce confident and competent divers. We like to make the learning environment fun and we like to make the material easily understandable. We also try our best to put our students in the best possible conditions for training, but sometimes Mother Nature gives us some “sporty” sea conditions. You did an outstanding job in the course. You are going to be a very good diver. We look forward to you coming back and diving with us some more.

I arrived to AV basically by searching something close to my home without a clear idea of what I was going to find. I am happy to have found the place. Instructors are very, very nice and helpful. They dedicate time and even extra dives if needed and they are not pushy at all on trying to get you into more certifications or equipment. Kary and the rest of the staff will answer all your questions and seem to be actually interested in what they do. In the end I did my Open Water and Advanced (SDI) with them.
The place has everything you need to get you started and if they don't have something at the store, they can get it from you and help you sort out the impossible jungle of diving equipment. They have a busy schedule with dives that are usually very well organized so whenever I don't have something with other friends, I just give them a call and get a nice dive for the weekend.
Just go and give it a try.

There are a lot of dive shops that do everything to push you into new gear and certifications, but we take a different approach and want to ensure the gear you purchase, and courses you take are going to fit the type of diving you like doing. The only way to do this is to dive with you, get to know you, and go from there. It is a pleasure having you dive with us, and we look forward to every visit. Once again, thanks for the Great review.

I went to get the whole family certified, including our 12-year-old daughter.
The place is clean, lots of inventory for purchasing and all sizes for renting equipment.
Kary the owner is exceptional at helping us with any issues and answering any questions we have, extremely friendly and welcoming.
We have Alex as our dive instructor - he is knowledgeable, experienced and extremely professional while teaching us throughout the course.
my daughter and I needed remedial classes since we struggled with the underwater mask techniques - Alex was flexible in setting up additional classes and not at all pushy to rush us thru any segment of the pool dives.
The place is clean, lots of inventory for purchasing and all sizes for renting equipment.

Thank you for the great review. Our goal is to help people learn to live the underwater world. Everyone learns at different speeds, and sometimes we all need a little extra help with a few skills. Mask clearing is usually one of the essential skills that many people have trouble with at first. Now that we have mastered all the skills the underwater world is open to you and we look forward to diving with you a lot more.

I had such an amazing experience with aquatic ventures! I cannot recommend Kary the owner and his staff, Mo, Grant and everyone else enough. Not only do they genuinely care about your safety, knowledge and preparation on your diving journey, but they also have fun doing it!

Thank you for your Great review. We do teach a sport that can be dangerous if proper training is not given, but nothing says we can’t have fun while doing it. We look forward to every visit of yours, and we enjoy every time we are in the water together. Looking forward to diving with you a lot more.

I highly recommend using Aquatic Venture for your certifications and dives. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. They were very patient with me and gave great advice that really helped me overcome my fear. Alex and Moe were great and engaging. Everyone who works there was attentive and helped me picked out all my gear. They explained the difference between the types of gear thoroughly and helped me make an informed decision. After finishing my course I feel very confident in diving. I plan on returning for dive trips as well as other certification courses with them.
Overall, an amazing experience and would give more stars if possible.
