MISERABLE & IRRESPONSIBLE

RUN DO NOT WALK FROM THIS FORUM FOR CONCERTS! We attended a ABBA concert at the Sunrise Theater on 2/18. The MILLER SISTERS, as they announced to the whole theater were sitting immediately behind us, drunk and having a conversation that other we and apparently others I spoke with at intermission could hear clearly and disrupted our experience. When I politely asked them to speak a little more quietly such that we all could enjoy the concert. That moved to shouting the conversation. I spoke three times with the ushers. I asked them to politely stand a few rows behind the ladies. I never saw them do so. A police officer turned up for a brief time and witnessed nothing. (Obviously-the behaved) The rest of the concert was miserable, the more they drank the louder they had become. Yet I was told there was nothing that could be done. The only relief was when the three Miller Sisters rushed the stage in spite of requests to the contrary. When leaving I noticed several spilled drink glasses. Pitty a venue has no options to politely ask abusive or drunk patrons to please restrain themselves. I am shocked the venue does not reserve the right to remove abusive patrons from the theater. Finally, I cannot believe that Florida does not have drunk and disorderly laws. Other performances may be fine. But it will be a long time before I will see a concert there.

Beautiful Theatre

Perfect theatre for Johnny Mathis. I think I'd be hard pressed to sit here through a loud band as the theatre is small.

That being said, the theatre has been renovated and is pristine. Very clean, amazingly friendly staff. Seats are very comfortable. The ladies room has about a dozen stalls, so intermission wasn't too long. There is a smaller ladies room upstairs.

The outside of the theatre is stunning. It is in an adorable location and within very easy walking distance to The Marina and a bunch of restaurants. Get there early to park near Marina or up by theatre

This is the first time we have been to the Sunrise Theater to see a show and were very pleasantly surprised. The theater was very nice and clean all the ushers very pleasant and the seats were comfortable as well
The only thing is the air conditioning could have been better especially when you have a full house!
The Ron White show was also very good he is such a great comedian and showman…. Am happy we got to see him as the end of 2022 he is retiring from stand up comedy

Great 'Old' Theatre

Facility is old (quaint) but adequate. Facilities are clean. The venue is varied and always changing, ... this is the highlight, and they have a full full schedule. Tickets bought on-line are convenient and box office/will-call staff is good. Parking is a problem as there is ... you have to search and be prepared to walk.

Great entertainment, for live shows

So glad to have this venue so close as living in Vero Beach is only 20 minutes south. We went to see Little Feat and enjoyed the performance. I wish they would have come on stage sooner as it was a long wait until they did. But once on stage, they played for two hours straight. There is plenty of parking close buy and they offer several forms of entertainment throughout the season.

Historic and Magnificent......

I have attended many, many performances at this great theatre from Jackie Mason to Martin Short to the legendary Smothers Brothers to Jay Leno and many more. It is beautiful and well maintained. Line of sight, and sound is tremendous. Plenty of area parking. Wonderful restaurants and bars within just yards away. Do yourself a favor and visit their website and purchase tickets for a show.

Excellent entertainment packages all year

Performances are mostly one-nighters so you have to carefully peruse schedule. They have something for everybody. Facility is definitely not elaborate but it does the job. Parking isn't the greatest but every show I have seen has been excellent.

Older well kept venue

We went to Abba Mania, and were impressed with the activity in the downtown area, and how festive and lit up the area was. The theater is small enough to have good seating almost anywhere you sit. Plenty of staff to help with seating etc. The concert itself wasn't too expensive, and was fine. There is a great line up of performances throughout the season, although this is our first time here.

this years annual trip to Ft Pierce and the sunrise Theater included a show by "The Motown Band" with special guest appearance by LALA Brooks (the Crystals) the show was great and all had a good time - the Sunrise Theater always has a good line up depending on your taste but worth checking out if you are in the FT. Pierce area

Went to go see ABBA Mania live at the Sunset Theatre in Downtown Fort Pierce. What a great theater in a nice downtown beach place. The show was fine but I would definitely go back for more productions. The theater has a great line up for 2020 and has hosted many big productions and famous people. Great architecture downtown and all lit up at night it is extremely pretty.
If you are in the here and around I would see what’s playing and walk around plenty of great restaurants too eat at also.
