As a local, I really dislike this structure. It is huge, constantly blocking traffic and causing accidents downtown. I don't even like sports yet our city is stuck with a giant eye sore in the middle of our city. You can always tell when an event is happening because of the chaos that ensues.

So I kinda liked this older, smaller, no frills stadium. Great seats! Great parking and a pretty good team. Liked the vibe of the fans and on field entertainment. Felt like old fashioned baseball. Enjoy seeing one of the last games of the season. Low tech where the baseball was the star

What a brilliant evening out,we went to watch the rays against Boston Red Sox and had a great time,the food and drinks were good value for a sporting event,the views are great as you can walk around the arena. This is something I would advise everyone to try.

Went to watch the Rays play the Twins. Excellent experience from start to finish. We wore our Chicago Cubs jerseys and everyone was so nice. My husband is handicapped and requires Wheelchair assistance and they were fantastic. They took him from the entrance to our seats, gave us a card that we could message them if needed, 2nd employee came during game and introduced themselves in case we needed them, then as soon as game was over they returned and took us almost to our car. We thought the stadium was very nice and very clean. They are in the process of building a new stadium, which should be open in 2028. Would definetly go to another game here!

This was a joke. 22 stadiums down, 8 to go. $10 seats that we are never going to touch, excellent. Bar outside of stadium (Fergs) was great! Inside $15 canned beer, $15 vodka soda(well). Tater tot log freezing cold another $15, got a “free” water in exchange. Highlight was getting to pet a ray. Highway robbery for families with kids that want their kids to have the baseball experience, it is over the top expensive and not ok, this is for fans and not multi-million dollar you know who’s . Save yourself and watch on the tv at the local pub.

We had a great time at our first baseball game on holiday from the UK. It was a busy Friday night game but prepaid parking was easy. The food hall was super busy but we were served super quick by a great hostess in the hot dog food area. Seats were easy to find and the seating hostess was great too and really welcoming. Game atmosphere was fab and we had a free Tampa Bay Rays fleeced hoodie which was great fun during the entertainment as everyone had them on supporting the Rays. Really enjoyed and even though the Rays didn't win we still had a great night!

We had a great time! There is so much to do in addition to the baseball game. Staff are helpful and friendly. We love the enclosed stadium. It makes baseball on a HOT day a lot more enjoyable. Seats are a little snug for plus sized peeps, but that is the only fault. This place is great!
We got the refillable cup for $17 and it saved us in the long run. Plenty of snacks and drink options all around.
Check out the live rays tank. It’s really neat to have them in a baseball park outfield.

The Trop is built to survive the weather not for looks. It feels small and bare. Even though you watch Major League games, the atmosphere doesn't meet the players. The cownose stingrays are a fun attraction but I am sure they are tired of the Trop too.

The trop has a interesting design with how the outside looks tilted but once you get inside it looks cool at first but then you get inside and they use as much posters as possible to cover up the ugly walls and when I was trying to get an autograph about 10 minutes before the game the staff is very rude and makes you leave before you have a chance to get an autograph but most of the staff members are very nice and then the top section of the stadium is closed off and nobody goes to the games and the atmosphere is not good and it is nowhere close to Tampa but I would recommend that since they are already planning on tearing down the stadium that they should relocate between Orlando and Tampa and if they do that they will draw a lot more people to come to the games but I am from Colorado and I am trying to visit all the MLB stadiums and this is one stadium that I would not want to come back to.

The best MLB game and the best field ever. If Atlanta had this I would have season pass and I’m 5 hours from Atlanta every baseball field needs a dome with Air Conditioning

I recommend the Marriott Courtyard on 4th Street. They have a very reliable free shuttle bus. Many people stay there and travel to the Trop that way. It’s a nice refurbished hotel. And the shuttle will take you anywhere else too. We have stayed there many times. Nice people too.

They do have elevators and they do have seats Along the rail so she doesn’t have to do the steps. Also if you buy your tickets at the box office or on phone you can ask them if they have seating to accommodate your mom.
