Our two older teens were looking for something adventurous to do on a chilly, foggy day during our vacation. We found this place online. One of our children is tall and as such, a bit heavier than the average teen which can be a hurdle at active spots. We called ahead to make sure his weight would not be an issue and was assured it was not (he is around 285). We were relieved to find nobody batted an eyelash at his participation - he was as welcome as anyone else.
We did our waivers online ahead of our visit. Note that spectators also need to do the waiver, but there is no cost to spectate. We thought the price was very reasonable at $25 per climber to climb all day.
The area the building is located in seemed a little sketchy. I would not have been comfortable sending my teens there without going along. There were homeless people sleeping and rummaging through a dumpster in the far end of the parking lot.
Inside the building was clean and in good repair. The woman at check in gave us a tour as it was our first visit. There are areas with automatic belays for people who haven’t taken the classes. The other areas require a class or testing out to use them. Although there were numerous places my kids could climb even as beginners, it was a little busy due to a camp taking place during our visit. A lot of young kids with their counselors had the auto belay walls pretty tied up. My kids did get their fill of climbing in our first hour and were very happy with our visit!
There is also bouldering which is available to anyone. We did not attempt that on this visit but it looked like fun!
Overall it was a very good visit and we would love to see something like it close to home!

The only reason to climb here is because it’s the only gym around central Florida with top rope and lead climbing. With that being said, they are VERY restrictive on climbers. You have to use a gri gri to lead belay, they charge to use a lead rope, they nit-pick you on the lead test and, if you fail, you have to wait a WHOLE YEAR to test again. I “failed” despite having 10+ years lead climbing experience both indoors and outdoors. The staff act very superior and told me I didn’t have “gym etiquette.” I’m also disappointed by how large the gym is yet they have very limited climbing. Plus it seems like they never clean their holds, so every climb is dirty and slick. I went in with an open mind knowing it could never compare to the gyms I’m used to in Colorado, but they need to change their policies and lighten up!

Great gym with a variety of climbing areas, hard to do it all in one visit. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff, stocked gear shop, its own parking lot. Only con was it was really hot, found out the AC broke before my visit. Would definitely go back again though!

So the rock climbing was great. Getting through the website or past front desk less-than great. We signed up/took a class we thought was needed. Apparently you can just walk on in and climb if you have not done it before?? The class made it very fun instead of figuring it out 20ft up.
If you are going to spectate you must have ID. I did forget mine but if you don’t carry yours you can forget going in. I snuck past the hall monitor.

There is plenty of parking around the area of this gym, parking was not a issue at all for us.
As we came in we saw that the place is pretty nice and large, with lots of walls and plenty things to do (so we thought) we had a tour of the gym and saw all walls and the members only gym too.
They had some walls with a machine kind of thing that made possible to climb with no need of a spotter? idk if that is what is called, the person who holds a cord.
They also had a "pit" that apparently only people who had classes with them has access and they also have some short walls that not equipment is necessary.
IT is a lot at first but once we saw the price and realized that we could not really use the entire place it was a bit of a let down.
now, I wanna make sure to let you all know I understand that safety is important and a class or two should be necessary to use certain more challenging walls. HOWEVER, they charge like almost 40 dollars and have a hour class to use all areas, besides the "pit" (this place only if you gave them enough amounts of money in form of classes"
now, I get it to charge a fee to teach, but most people like me who wanna come for one time and get to experience the place cannot.
They could make the class shorter and cheaper or think about something to make possible to train new people safely and in an affordable way so they can have more people who will wanna use their facilities.
I will probably not come back I was only able to use a couple of walls and it was not worth it in the end as a first time user of the gym, seems ikon this place is made for people to commit to It and not meant for people to come and experiment and see if they would like the sport.

I went to this vertical venture with a group of veterans, most that have never done this type of thing before along with myself. We were broken down in small groups and received a very detailed safety briefing. They fitted us with the equipment and up we went. It was challenging and rewarding, as many reached the top. I felt safe and confident that the staff knew what they were doing — bucket list check.

We had a great time
For little more than you pay for a movie ticket, we spent a few hours with the kids.
If you are not in shape, pace yourself.
There are multiple walls and many levels.
We loved the fact you can hook yourself to a device that will prevent you from falling fast (we did not want to bother the staff much).

This place was fun! The boulder section was pretty cool and challenging. Lily who works there was super upbeat and friendly throughout our entire visit! Will return.

I was here a few days ago with my grandson and nieces. They had a great time and I noticed a variety of ages in this place. I may even try it the next time I am in Florida~
