Fishing with Gulf Star is a blast! We catch tons of fish. They supply your license, bait your hook, take fish off and bait you.up again! So much fun! Come join us on the 4th!

Went out on a 12 hour launch on 11/30 with capt Rich and crew. Outstanding service by the upbeat crew and trip was exactly as described. While we didnt get on many fish, thats fishin....I always laugh at the reviews that hammer on the charter for not getting fish, thats fishing some days are good, some not so much, but the way the crew handled themselves and the customers tells allot more.
Will gladly go again without hesitation.

Captain Sarah was most knowledgeable. On the way to the fishing spot she told us quite a bit about the area and sea life. She excelled at pointing out all the sea turtles and dolphins. First mate NoAh was the best I’ve ever experienced on a charter boat. He took time to teach all my friends who had never fished before how to use the rod and reel. He and Captain Sarah were on point at all times helping remove fish, fix reel problems, tell us about the mystery fish we caught, and truly make us feel welcome. They had water guns for the kids and a kite to fly on the way out. Noah filet all the fish caught on board and he did it quickly and efficiently. He and Captain Sarah both were earnest, down to earth, and kind. I’ve been on many charters but these two are hands down the best crew I’ve ever experienced. Can’t wait to come back.

This was my second trip with Gulfstar on the multi day 30 fathom red snapper trip. They only have 15 passengers on the boat for this trip. Plenty of room to move around. Although this year the water was rough, due to poor weather, I still limited out on most species. I will continue to book with GulfStar every chance I get. It's my favorite of all the middle grounds party boats. As long as they don't crowd the boat I'll remain a loyal customer.

Not a good day for Gulfstar fishing. First the boat was way over crowded. Then as the captain took off he made fun of president Joe Biden‘s request to wear facemasks. He needs to understand the audience that he speaking to. There were some on the boat that have lost loved ones due to the Covid virus. Once they got out there, and it was only a half day, they moved eight times. I firmly believe they moved because the crew was shorthanded, and they did not want to land in a honey hole because they could not keep up with the activity. I will never go again with Gulfstar!

We wanted to take our grandson on a fishing excursion on the Gulf. We found Gulfstar Fishing on the internet. We went on the 1/2 day and were not disappointed. He had a blast! We all caught fish and the crew was great!

Despite that I suffered a severe heat stroke just soon after we departed, the trip is worth every penny. I can't say more, how incredibly caring and supportive the crew was. As well, just about every one of the passengers were concerned; some came to sit by me inside the cabin (where I was for just about the entire trip!). Fish weren't abundant that day but everyone was pleased with what they caught. Even during one of my lucid moments, I caught one! (then ran right back into the cabin). Success for me was that everyone enjoyed, that we didn't have to turn around and bring me back.......that everyone was SO caring and kind. I'll be back!!!!!
Oh, and the crew was GREAT with the kids on board!!!!!!!!!! Treated them as their own!

Relaxed and friendly. Knowledgeable captain and crew. Everyone caught fish and they fillet them for you on the way in. We will absolutely do it again with these guys!

Had a "confirmed" reservation for my son and I for September 20, 2019. No one called or emailed to cancel. Drove 45 minutes to the dock, boughg supplies etc. When we arrived - the lady at the office said they were not going out - she said that she called and emailed me. They didn't. She read off phone number (number transposed).
They had my email address to bill my credit card but apparently didn't do anything to advise me of cancellation.
Definitely a 3rd class operation. Dont waste your time on these guys.

They don't sell drinks on the ship but feel free to bring a cooler with your drinks/beer.
