This is the second time we have taken the boat trip on the lakes and through the canals at Winter park. The guys who run the boat tours are friendly and knowledgeable and they tell you about the history of the area, and point out the wildlife along the way. Don’t expect to see alligators, but do expect to see some wonderful birds. And some glorious estates which are based around the lakes. The experience is slow and peaceful and the gardens and natural vegetation are beautiful.
If you have small children they may be a bit bored but otherwise this is a must do activity in Winter Park

David was the Captain he was informative funny and interactive made everyone feel included in the tour very knowledgeable about the entire area shared several interesting points will definitely be back and bring friends and family

The website made it sound like there was a possibility of seeing alligators and other wildlife. The tour guide said nearly all of the alligators had been relocated some time ago to a bigger lake somewhere. He has never seen one on these tours. If you take this tour expecting to see anything other than estate homes you’ll be very disappointed.

Boats run on the hour and at 3 pm, there were enough people to fill three pontoon boats. The staff and drivers handled everything well. The tour includes a couple of narrow canals connecting area lakes. The "captain" was knowledgeable, humorous, and responsive to questions. The tour was a delight.

Foi uma experiência bem agradável e surpreendeu positivamente. O condutor foi muito divertido e tornou o passeio mais agradável ainda. Vale muito fazer esse passeio.

Wanted to take this tour for awhile. Friends visiting, took the chance. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The tour itself was great. The Capt. had a good sense of humor, was informative. The weather was beautiful. Very glad decided to try this tour. Will go again.

This tour operation is conveniently located at the end of E. Morse in Winter Park. The downtown area is compact and we had about a 10 minute walk from the parking lot near the History Museum. These one-hour tours are well-manged by experienced guides. If there's one tour to take to get some knowledge of Winter Park, it's probably this one. Other tours by a different company weren't offered during the time of our visit but this one seems to be a permanent part of the scene.

What a great tour! Tom was our skipper and he was a delight. Lots of history, local info, jokes and socializing. This was our first trip and we will be back. We will also bring visitors. Pay attention to the time of year, because the days do heat up. We got there early and booked our tour and then went to enjoy lunch in the area.

Ramps do lead from the street to the docking area. They are steep. Once inside the waiting area, there is seating. The boats are docked close to the loading area, but you must step to get inside the boat. No room for a wheelchair or walker inside the boat. It is a bit cramped. Also, street parking is available, however, I didn't recall seeing handicap parking.
