I am writing this review on behalf of my family members who went on this tour. They have particular tastes and have various dietary restrictions and this tour managed to meet all of their needs. They said they really enjoyed the walking tour and the guide was able to go at their pace, considering they might not walk that fast. They reported that the food on the tour was quite good and that the guide was very knowledgeable. I would recommend trying this tour.

My wife and I had the opportunity to do the walking food tour of Winter Park today- and we had a great time. Our guide Jennifer was gracious, knowledgeable and from the first moment made special effort to make sure we had a good time.
There were multiple stops, walking approximately 1 mile over the space of 3 hours, pretty comfortable exercise. We visited three restaurants, Boca, the Parkview and Cocina 214. We also visited the Ancient Olive- a great store for fine olive oil and balsamic vinegars. We finished up at Kilwin’s for fudge and ice cream. At every location, they were prepared and welcoming to our group. At each stop the staff was excited to tell us about their restaurant and their food.
In addition, Jennifer gave us a bit of Winter Park history including some information and a walkabout of the beautiful Casa Feliz estate, owned by Robert Bruce Barbour, and designed by architect James Gamble Rodgers.
All in all it was a great way to spend a sunny afternoon in beautiful Winter Park.

This was my first experience with this company, although I've been on 2 other food tours in the Orlando area through different companies. We did the Winter Park tour, and I was so excited to go.
Sadly, this tour left a LOT to be desired. But first, let me start with the positives:
- The tour guide seemed friendly enough, although she hinted various times about gratuities, which I thought was tacky
- We were given mimosas or beer at most of the stops, which is a nice touch (and the only reason I didn't give only 1 star to this company)
Now for the negatives:
- Can we taste more of a variety besides bread, bread, bread? Stop 1 was some sort of bruchetta (bread). Stop 2 was a tiny chicken taco in a soft bread. Stop 4 was a place where we sampled 3 varieties of (you guessed it...) flatbread. Seriously, couldn't we have sampled more of what that restaurant had to offer? Maybe 1 flatbread, one type of meat dish, another type of appetizer?? SOMETHING else besides 3 varieties of flatbread? Stop 3 was an olive oil store and Stop 5 was ice cream at Kilwins. I left after stop 4. I get ice cream and fudge at the Kilwins near my house all the time, so it's nothing special.
- In between stops 3 and 4, we had a 20 minute wait before our next reservation, so the guide walked us around to look at architecture. I have no interest in this. It seems like poor planning that we have to wait 20 minutes before our next stop, and this is after spending a LOT of time in stop 3. (When we finally got to stop 4, we then waited another 35 minutes for 2 of our flatbreads to arrive, and another 10 minutes for the 3rd.....yawn. So it was over an hour from eating at the olive oil place to eating our flatbreads).
If they want to improve, they can take some ideas from the other food tours I've been on. At each restaurant, we sampled unique items from each place. For instance, at one restaurant in Winter Garden, we tried shrimp & grits as well as duck fat fries. Two different items, very unique. Not 2 different types of flatbreads. We tried a fried ice cream at another stop. Unique! On another tour, the "grand finale" wasn't ice cream at Kilwins that you can get any time. We had humongous macaroons (almost as large as a plate) sandwiched together with gelato and drizzled with strawberries.
I feel like a food tour should showcase unique items from each location, not just one type of bread after another. The planning should be better as well, so we don't have to wait around for long stretches and go look at architecture. I love food, but this tour was a real disappointment.

Did this as a birthday gift. I didn't know that they had a food tour in Winter Park. The tour is 4 hours and the walk is about 2-4 miles since all the restaurants are close to each other. We did visited 5 places and Jennifer was our guide and she really did an excellent job taking us around. We visited Park View; the roasted tomato tartine was a huge hit in our group along with the mimosas. We then went on to a Mexican restaurant Cocina 214 where we had a beer and tacos. I wasn't a fan of the tacos. It was a bit too bland for my taste however this is not to say the other items on the menu is not good. We then visited Ancient Olive, I could spend most of my day in here. Really cool store and very friendly and helpful staff (see my separate review of this store). After the olive oil store we made our way to Casa Feliz for some cool history. Next stop was Garp and Fuss. This restaurant reminded me of the horbit house in lord of the rings lol. It's tucked away through the narrow alley ways next to Ancient Olives. We had some radler with a very very delicious fried cauliflower and crab cakes with three sauces. The cauliflower was really good and the teriyaki sauce was hit at my table. Our last stop was at the ice cream and candy store Kilwins. We tried the apple butter ice cream and fudge. This is a really cool tour and try to get Jennifer. Walk with comfy shoes.

My wife and I recently ventured on the Orlando Food Tour in Winter Park. Our tour guide was very sweet and pleasant and knowledgeable of the area and the establishments that we went to. We went to 5 different places and were served a variety of food and drinks. We love foodie tours and this was one of our favorites.

Our family went on a nice food tour at Winter Parks. Our guide was excellent and took us to several restaurants which included Parkview and Boca. We also visited a French pastry shop, a mexican restaurant and an italian store that educates you well on olive oil. The food and sweet treats were awesome.

We booked a tour and it was canceled by the company the day before due to a "family emergency" of the guide. We do not reside in the are and cannot reschedule. The company is refusing to provide a refund and has ignored all of our communication efforts.

Hey Brittany, I apologize for the inconvenience and that your tour got canceled. From time to time we do have to cancel a tour if there is an issue with a vendor, a tour guide is unavailable or there aren’t enough tickets sold. I think you had purchased through Groupon so we have not been refusing you a refund. I’ll take care of the issue right now so you can get your money back from them. I was not aware that you had requested a refund. My apologies again, I don't want anyone to have a bad experience. I will email you a confirmation that it has been taken care of.

Our guide Jennifer was excellent and the tour was great. Discovered new restaurants and shops. We had delicious flatbreads at Boca and tartine at Parkview. I highly recommend this tour.

My wife and I took the Winter Park,FL food tour which was done through Orlando Food Tours. We were met by our wonderful food tour guide, Melody. She was great and provided a lot of information about our stops and the city. The places we visited had very good samples. We also visited an olive oil and a spice store where we enjoyed great samples there as well.
If you are looking for a fun way to learn about this area and the fun places to go then I would recommend this tour!
I would have liked to try more actual food and would recommend keeping water with you. Great time though!

We participated in the Audubon Park Food Tour and have to say we were disappointed. We did the Winter Park tour a couple years ago and were quite impressed. So we anticipated the same type of tour. I will say that his is a new tour for them and they had just rolled it out....but still should and could have been better. The tour guides were sweet but they didn't have a lot of history or knowledge of the area. Some of the info they gave was misinformation. The walking tour of the portion was minimal and very short....which was okay to some degree. We spent most of our time in the East End Market which is a super cool market...however it was small and getting crowded and it was hard to maneuver as a group and hear any presentation that was given. Each food stop in the market was great....but very little information was given about the shop. Some shops were better than others at sharing their story. The ice cream shop was fantastic but again very little information. I'd recommend the Winter Park tour but for now let them work out the kinks for the Audubon Park tour. It needs improvement

We had food at four stops, pizza, mac & cheese, bruschetta, wine or beer etc. One place was olive oil and vinegar tastings and then finger foods they made with those ingredients like dips with crackers etc. At Kilwin's we had ice cream.
