The rides were good ,the ones open. The park it's self was run down, hardly any stores and the workers was standing like zombie's. It's so sad you can't find anyone to enjoy working there. Back in the day, it was great. Clean and happy place to be

My husband and I drove quite a distance to visit this park on September 3,2021. The calendar showed they were open. We bought tickets in advance and decided to go. When we got there, no one was there and there was a sign on the gate that said most of the rides weren't operating due to lack of staff. Why even have an amusement park open if you can't staff it?? Not worth the money and we were really disappointed when we drove such a long way and came home mad. Will not be going ever again unless our money is refunded

We visited this on A Saturday in August while vacationing in Tennessee. It's a large park with a lot of rides, but most of them were carnival-like rides. Most seemed run down and outdated. The only ride that is unique is the boat chute ride which is the only one like it in the country. Over a dozen rides were closed mainly due to staffing issues. Some had a sign that said they were opening later in the day. Some pluses are free parking, a reasonable admission price, nice employees and short wait times at rides. We were able to leave the park a little after 12:00 and did almost a dozen rides. This place has potential but needs updates.

Lake Winnie is a classic small park with a deep history. On my previous visit a decade ago, things were in a bit better shape. Admittedly, the labor shortage and COVID has seemed to impact Lake Winnie in 2021. Many rides were not operating, but they were definitely the less popular attractions. The big rides will be up and running. Cannonball is a great classic wooden coaster with lots of airtime (try row 3). The carousel is vintage and even has the old organ that plays as you ride. The Boat Chute is one of my favorite small park rides and is a fun historic attraction. Unfortunately they changed Castle into some terrible new dark ride. Maybe some day they will come to their senses and change it back to a good haunt. Lake Winnie is experiencing a rough patch like so many other parks, but they have a great setting on the lake and a fun collection of rides. I hope they continue to operate to the level of excellence I know they can once this pandemic is done and gone. It is a 3 now, but can easily bounce back to a 4 or 5.

I took my family of 11 last week. We arrived at about 1:30 and the park closed at 6pm. We knew that when we arrived. We paid nearly $350 (with a couple of discounts for age and military). Nearly half the rides were shut down. The Ines that were running in the kids area were "attendant sharing". There We 2 ride attendants for about 10 rides. The wait times were horrible. Only a couple of the many food places were being operated. We stopped for a sno-cone and the attendants was nice, but said they only had enough ice for one. He then, on his own without prompting said the management does not make sure they have what they need and he was only paid $5 an hour. I told him he needs to find another job!

This place was once very grand and a great deal. It was beyond disappointing this trip and very costly. We are not likely to ever go back. No refunds or credit of any kind for their lack of service. The few rides that operated were fun. There were just far too fee for the price of admission!

Everywhere you look you see neglect. Lots of potential but I guess covid and lack of employees has pretty much ruined this park. Sad to see really.

Nostalgic amusement park offering affordable family fun!! I'm not sure how long this place has been there, but you drive through older, established registration neighborhoods with no signage or any indications that you are about to arrive at an amusement park until you get to the parking lot. Inside you find a good sized community amusement park and adjoining water park. If you've ever been to Beech Bend Amusement Park in Bowling Green, Lake Winnie is very much the same concept. You pay one price and get unlimited rides and can come and go between the water park and the regular amusement park area. The rides are almost entirely family friendly traditional favorites like flying elephants, a Ferris wheel, carousel swings, a wooden rollercoaster, train, and some scarier offerings like a straight down "drop" ride. We used a discount offer which resulted in major savings. We enjoy going to smaller cheaper parks because you really get more for your money and don't feel like you have to stay there from open to close to get your full value. Our family spent a few hours there and had fun, but then were ready to go to the hotel and relax. It's a nice little place to visit in Chattanooga in addition to the other pricier tourist attractions like the aquarium, and you'll definitely get a healthy dose of nostalgia if you remember Libertyland from Memphis or even Opryland from Nashville. There were no shows or little theaters for them in this park, and the concession stands were limited and jam packed with long lines--if the park can't increase the serving capacity, they ought to let outside food be brought in. Just a suggestion. Other than that, as frequent Beech Bend visitors, we thought Lake Winnie compared very well.

In all honesty I would never visit this park again. There were no rides working forreal and looks like they were short staff. There was only a couple of rides open literally a small amount. When i asked a worker why any of the rides were working he stated that they need maintance. I feel for all that money they charging us to get into the park everything should be working completely. Everything looked old and outdated in the park. Just a bad experience yesterday.

We had a group of 15 different ages, so glad the other half of the group did not come, most of the rides were not operating, nothing on the web site about it, was not notified at the gate, not offered a discount after spending 600.00 on tickets to get with the rudest staff except fot the girl that was working the ticket booth she was super nice

We took our family of 6 to Lake Winnie today. Our tickets cost us $230. We have been coming here for years and it has never been like it was today. 22 of the 37 rides weren’t running!! That’s right…22! We had no idea, no word of this on the website or when ordering tickets online. We feel that we were simply taken for our money. So disappointing! The water park was fully staffed and running as usual. Our family comes here twice per summer on average, but until this is resolved, we won’t be back again.
