This is fairly easy to find, once you drive past the entrance, it is a narrow down grade road that starts out as paved then turn into gravel. For a while we really just saw greenery, and then bursting out of the rocky hill side all the water.

So green and clear, just beautiful. This place is not very busy at all. Maybe people find it out of the way. We saw a group with kayaks getting ready to launch. Wish we had something that would put us on the water/lake. From pictures on the web, even more beautiful spots to see the waterfalls and springs.

The hatchery was closed due to COVID.

We got turned around with our GPS on this one by putting in Thousand Springs State Park. It took us to some other state park so we finally put in Niagara Springs State Park and it was able to get us to the right area (It's the Niagara Springs Unit of Thousand Springs State Park). There's a fish hatchery there (closed when we went due to COVID-19) so you could put in the GPS as well. The road down the canyon is narrow and steep.

Once you find it, it's a sight to behold! The water flows directly out of the canyon wall at 250 cubic feet per second! The water just cascades down the side of the mountain and is truly a natural wonder that you'll never forget.

When you exit Box Canyon, Niagara Springs is the next stop. Continue south on 1500 East, then turn onto Bob Barton Highway, then south on 1950 East. Niagaara Springs is the last stop. It took us all day to see the wholeThousand Springs State Park.
The fish hatchery is a separate entity and was closed. We would have loved to see the big fish that are raised there. There is a visitors center in Wendell, the town just before you get to it . the visitors center was open and, though small, there was a Ranger there who told us about the area and answered our questions. Since it was late summer the falls were smaller but still pretty.

I have traveled all over the country but I have never seen water flowing right out of the side of the mountain. It takes some work getting here but it's worth the visit.

Смотреть источники надо до въезда, бесплатно. За 5 долларов они хуже. Ехать лучше со стороны Wendell.

Niagara Springs is a hidden gem in rural southern Idaho. The spring comes directly out of the side of the cliffs and flows down into the steelhead fish hatchery. The water is crystal clear! The fish hatchery is a very nice and clean facility. The public can take a our on their own or have one of the hatchery personnel give them a tour The fish are cool to see when they feed them! I highly recommend taking the time to go see this and other hatcheries in the Magic Valley! It's worth the trip!
