We visited bc we needed to check it off our stadium tour list. The stadium is nice and the workers were laid back. Minimal crowds. Going to and from the stadium on the L-Train is a little sketchy but stay in a group and don’t look “rich”.

Underrated ballpark overshadowed by the nostalgic Wrigley. Tickets were dirt cheap as the Sox are terrible and demand is zero, but that means a great deal and little hassle.

The park is a bit out of the way - I took the red line from downtown Chicago and got off at Sox-35th. A maybe 5 minute walk brings you to the stadium. There were some sketchy vendors near the station selling nips and other alcoholic beverages which likely isn't entirely legal. And there was an incident on the train where some youths were peddling little baggies of 'stuff' going from car to car, but this seemed to not phase the passengers, most going to the game, and they passed by without incident.

I stopped at the box office and easily got a $26 ticket that included two drinks in right field on an aisle.

Went to my section and seat which was had no one in it while the orioles were still taking batting practice. A ball landed in the next section over to mine and I easily walked over and picked it up with no competition.

I had a Campfire Milkshake which was chocolate ice cream, marshmallow whipped cream and topped with a Hershey bar, toasted marshmallows and graham cracker crumbles. It was average and cost $15. Note - the guest relations folks said these sell out quick and are available in the Vizzy View Bar. I had to ask where they were as no regular vendors had them after looping the stadium.

I am a partial season ticket holder and think that the Cell is a better baseball experience than the other stadium up north. That being said, the team is terrible and the atmosphere is pretty poor because of it. They could fix a lot of these issues by lowering prices on food and drinks. Other teams throughout the league have done it and they’re selling more seats and having more fun. It’s a shame that the White Sox are owned by an incompetent greedy buffoon who wants to milk every penny he can out of the team while putting out the washed-up Royals alumni team on the diamond every game.

Easiest ballpark, stadium, arena to get to. Traffic not a problem, went on line to see how to enter our parking lot. Instructions were easy to follow and they had signs up at the park to. Bought several things from the souvenir booths. Cheap hotdogs. Great seats. Really don't understand what the hate is with this place. Went to a Atlanta braves game earlier in the season and felt like I was at a carnival instead of a ballpark. Great place for baseball.

My wife and I have a goal of going to all of the MLB ballparks and this was 12/30 for us. We had decent seats and the game was good and our view was good as well. There were interesting food choices here (in addition to regular hot dogs) and we had pierogi and a turkey club, which is a first for us at a MLB ballpark. However, the ballpark just felt a bit off for us. I think it may be that it's not in the best part of town and that ubering out of here was a huge pain. It also didn't help that we went to Wrigley the following day and we couldn't help but compare the two. All in all, it's a decent place to see a game, but we wouldn't return.

I went to see a White Sox in July, while I was on a long weekend in Chicago. The ballpark is located across the street from the public train stop. The White Sox were playing against St. Louis Cardinals. The game was a great experience, both teams battled, each taking the lead in different moments of the game, just a great game. The White Sox ended up winning the game 8 runs to 7. The ballpark it's self is not bad looking name, concessions stands are everywhere with a good variety of foods, from Chicago dogs to fries, as well as a very good selection of beers, everything you need to enjoy a baseball game. The area of the park I liked a lot was towards outfield bleachers, on the concourse, there are two spots of statues honoring White Sox players whom jersey numbers were retired, a great way to connect fans with the teams past. The price for our seats were really good, we were seated just a few rows form the field, it can be do to the White Sox not having a good season. The part i didn't like was that usually before the game starts, you can tour around the stadiums, to check out or take pictures from different vantages points of the park, In Guaranteed Rate Field (a really dumb name) they block off many parts of the park, no fun. Overall I did enjoy the game and the park, the atmosphere was great, the food was good, and since it was July 7, the had a fireworks show at the end, not a bad way to end the day.

We visited on the 4th of July and found out they had a last minute giveaway - cool! What was not so cool was the weather and the HUGE line. Still, once the line started moving they were fast about getting people through security and in to the ballpark.

The fan store was large and not overly crowded even though there were lots of fans shopping. I almost found everything I wanted. For some reason they didn't have the old Black and White (early 20th century) design hat. Settled for something similar and then wandered to find our seats. We were explicitly going to Chicago to see ballgames at both parks. Guaranteed Rate Field is a lot larger than Wrigley, so dealing with crowd issues are more present. More rowdy fans, WAY too many people to try to walk by while coming and going from getting concessions, lines for the restroom, etc.

I saw someone walk by with a Rainbow Cone and I went on a mission to find where I could buy one (we had one at the Navy Pier the day before and wanted one again). I asked a couple concessionaires where to find the cones and they had no idea...instead one ice cream vendor said he 'thought' it might be in the outfield sections. Fast forward the next 15 mins of me walking the entire stadium looking for the dang cones...with NO luck.

The energy of the stadium was great and love the touch of having a live DJ. We did not drive to the stadium, but took the redline from where we staying to the ballpark. Its super close, but be prepared to run the gauntlet of peeps hustling (selling drinks along a few blocks). It was so dang hot, we DID buy a couple bottles of water from them. Much fairer prices than at the ballpark.

I love the White Sox, so I might be a little biased here, but I do love this stadium. It may not be as fancy as some of the newer stadiums are, but it has some modern features while preserving a lot of the Sox history.
I've sat in pretty much every area of the ballpark and it's hard to find a bad seat.
Too bad the team isn't any good this year.

Great game. Concession service chaotic. 500 level ticket holders not permitted to explore the rest of the stadium.
