Animals in this place are DYING to hunger !!! Literally DYING. It such a pity seing a dead Peacock lying and started decomposing in the cage. The Pelicans, Flamingos, Swans and other kinds of birds are being fed popcorns and other food that is not in there nature yet, they are running to eat because they are starving. The coats and nails of all kinds of sheeps and goats were not even trimmed and its totally obvious their sufferings.
This animal must be rescued as soon as possible. Its a shame to the Management of Al Areen Management to ask payment for entrance and to display such conditions.

Terrible place, waste of 2 BD per person. I went with my family of 7 person to see wild animals because my kids wanted to see but there was not a single wild animal.
Only some dead flamingoes and some birds, total waste of time energy and money, waste of time and patrol to go there even if it is free....

Dont waste your time goin to Al Areen Park Bahrain. The ticket price has increased to 2 BD and no wild animals like tiger lion hyna etc you will only see some almost dead falmingos, eagles, vultures, goat, hen, sheep tortoises etc. total waste of money and time not worth even if its free total waste of 2 BD. DONT VISIT!!

its an animal zoo divided in two parts indoor for wild animals and out door for others , its nice to visit on winter not stunner , its a but far from city center ,
its good for kids to learn about animals and for breathing fresh air , you can use a bus there for trip or you can hair a bicycle , its not recommended on summer at all

Considering small country of Bahrain, It is good to have such wildlife park. It requires some renovation but overall experience was good.

Un zoo est un zoo mais nous avons été surpris de voir beaucoup d’animaux mal entretenus, maigres et tristes. Les ovins peuvent à peine marcher à cause de leurs sabots trop longs. Nous avons surtout été choquées de voir derrière les barreaux 3 chiens de la race Saluki. Deux très maigres et totalement déprimés et une femelle adorable qui cherchait visiblement le contact humain. Quelle tristesse. Comment est-ce possible de nos jour de mettre ces animaux à la sensibilité reconnue dans de telle condition. J’espère que les choses vont vite changer

Les animaux sont en très mauvaise état. Des CHIENS sont là enfermés avec la faune… comment est-ce possible de faire des choses pareilles ????
Les animaux sont maigres, mal entretenus avec des problèmes de peau et des sabots pas taillés … ils peuvent à peine marcher!
Ce zoo est à boycotter absolument.
Les choses doivent changer!

This is the worst zoo I have ever been to. Heartbreaking to see animals clearly not looked after, some of the sheep could hardly walk their hooves were so overgrown, wild dogs that basically looked like pet Salukis to me, that clearly were very very underweight, a sad lonely brown bear in a far too small enclosure. They clearly spend more time looking after the gardens than they do the poor animals who have unfortunately found themselves existing as I wouldn’t call it living in this absolute hell hole. Any animal lovers, please don’t visit, it will be too upsetting. Also the children visiting clearly have no care or respect, shouting at and trying to scare a pelican that was loose in the grounds, with parents just letting them. Wish I’d never visited the place 😢

I was in a quick visit to the hotel as a part of my plan for my wedding.
The property is amazing too beautiful too peaceful like really something wow.
While i was there I’ve noticed how they take extra care of the cleanliness specially during this current situation, they spray everywhere sanitizing every touch point.
Salman the supervisor from the front office was really helpful. All staff were wearing masks and gloves keeping the social meters distance.
The extra care they apply regarding the current crisis is really what made me feel save and comfortable.
Will see you soon to experience more.

It's very shocking to me to see how ppl think this place is amazing, what exactly is amazing? The lack of water on all the animal cages? The skinny dogs and goats? The over heat lions, hyenas ? This is disgusting and a real cruelty to this animals.
