I've visited it with my family. I really liked the performance, looks and food.
Atmosphere was great. They were able create a good scene and even made people to play along, as if they were "disliking" other knights. Knights looked pretty good, and were able to show great skills at fighting.
Well, there's a few things that I would want to point out. I've bought a sword. Metal sword. It looked great and realistic, but wasn't really durable.
I was very interested with medieval ans ancient weapons, so I've tried a few moves with a sword. It took 1.5h, then it's blade started moving back and forth. It seems was not secured well enough. I didn't hit anything except for the air.
Sword had only problems with durability. Visually they are great.
In general, I can say that show itself and foods are well made. It was worth traveling there. Staff was giving the right mood, and performance of battles was great. Purchasing things at the store wasn't the experience I've expected. Maybe I just wasn't very lucky and picked the wrong sword, and the others are fine.
This place is recommended. Definitely worth it.

This past weekend my family had a family reunion at Hanover Maryland. I always wanted to visit the Medieval Times Castles. This past Saturday was my first visit. I purchased the Queen Royalty VIP. I took a picture with the Queen. The show was amazing, the jousting, the food, the horses dancing and the fighting. I couldn’t stop clapping and yelling. In the near future I need to return.

If you are in Hanover Maryland this is a must experience for the family and young and old. My family truly enjoys watching the show and actively participating in the jousting and dancing horses. This by far has the cleanest environment, friendly host and entertaining experience.

They ruined our family time coming down telling us to stop yelling and having a great time, we might scare the horses, what a crock of poop! Never going there again! Have fun with yourself medieval times!

I have been to three different locations. The show the food and the service are always spectacular. Recommend for all ages. We had a group of 10 and all 10 were smiling and enjoyed the program.

Such a fun experience. if you are taking your children it is very very much family friendly.

This show is great for every age group, I went with my mom, my kids, and my sister and all have a great time, the food was pretty good. Drink prices are a little higher than normal, same for the gift shop. $$$

Show was good, service very professional and courteous. Large serving of food which was pretty tasty considering that it isn’t the reason to go. I had a snack beforehand bc another review stated portions were small. But I forgot how obese a large percentage of the U.S. population is. For a normal person it is too much food to eat. Kids 8 and 10 had a great time cheering the knights. Overall a fun time and worth the $.

The castle and show was great, but you might want to eat somewhere else. The knights were nicely dressed and you get a crown the color of our knight with awesome lighting. They also give you some a space in between other parties at your table which is also very nice. They have plenty of drinks for purchase (alcohol or non-alcohol) at the bar before the show from some friendly servicers. The biggest disappoint was the food which lacked flavor and was small in portions. They serve you tomato soup, a little piece of garlic bread, a small baked chicken breast with wing attached, a potato wedge, corn on the cob, and a chocolate covered cream puff for desert. I had to dip my chicken and potato wedge in the soup to add some flavor but was still missing it. The best thing was the corn on the cob but that needed some butter. My advice is go early for the souvenirs, drinks and then enjoy the show but have dinner before or after the show at nice restaurant.

Attended Feb 5 Sunday 2PM show for my 4 yro grandson's birthday. Premium tickets to be a part of Queen's Royal Court and to be seated in the front row.
Our knight we had to cheer for was BLUE. Oh what a racist he was. All other knights on different teams beautifully handed flowers to the person seated in the front row of their court. Our BLUE knight did NOT like the only two families that sat in the front row. My family (Asian) and the only other family being African American.
Our BLUE knight glanced over at the front row and then looked behind us and decided to toss the flower to the WHITE lady seated several rows behind us!!
WHITE PRIVILEGE at its finest here in Maryland. Shame on the BLUE knight to ruin the small children's experience seated on the front row. They will always remember this experience as the time the BLUE knight discriminated the families in the front due to their race. DISGUSTING behavior from a grown man in BLUE knight costume. Save your money (I spent over $400) and go where it's friendly to minorities.

I would call Medieval Times and ask a live body. I do not know about the bus situation, sorry. But, their customer service people do seem pretty helpful.

If you don't want to sit around and buy all the souvenir junk, don't go an hour early. My husband and I went without kids. We went about 20 mins early and still felt like we were just standing around for a long time.

The show is 2 hours long and the food is served throughout that time. The menu is pre determined, there's no utensils so you'll be eating with your hands. If you have little ones bring some napkins. Also be conservative on your drink. Going early will get you the best seats, plus there's a huge line to just pick up your tickets.

Seating is assigned. You don't get to pick your seats. That being said, there's not a bad seat in the house.
