A group of my friends and I recently stayed at Rocke N Horse farm for a relaxing weekend retreat away from the city. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back! There were eight of us on this trip and we rented 2 apartments on the property that were both spacious and charming for hosting a large group.We had so much fun riding and interacting with the horses, all of which were very sweet. Wendy and Kevin were awesome hosts. You can really tell that they care a lot about the well-being of their guests as well as their beautiful horses.

My family and I recently stayed at Rocke N Horse for 2 nights and we all had a wonderful time! The room was homey and spacious. Our young boys loved “living on the farm” and didn’t want to go home! We came in with minimal plans and found ourselves jam packed with fun. Close tonshoppi and restaurants as well as plenty to do on site to keep the kids occupied - horses, chickens, “farm chores”, games. Wendy and Kevin were amazing hosts!

I have visited Rocke N Horse Farm a couple of times already with my girlfriend and I can't wait to go back again. If you're looking for a nice quiet getaway with lots to do, then this is the place to go. Great for adults and also for families. There is something for everyone. The Otis reservoir is beautiful and great for fishing, swimming and boating. The lake access with a dock is very close and only a short walk from the comfy apartments you stay in. You can go for a horse back ride in the morning, go for a boat ride in the afternoon and take the row boat out for some fishing in the evening. If you just feel like doing nothing, you can do that too and sit on the peaceful swing bench located on the dock. The horses are very friendly and love when you give them treats. Kevin and Wendy are great hosts and are available for anything you need including bait and tackle at their bait shop located on the same property. I could not recommend this place more highly and cannot wait to go back myself. Thanks Wendy and Kevin, see you again soon!!

wendy was an awesome tour guide with her horses and knew all the trails. we felt safe and had a great time. horses are very mellow. Red, Whiskey and Harley were amazing horses they followed commands very well. i recommend this beautiful quiet place to all.

I visited back in May and decided to come back with my boyfriend. He is a big time outdoorsman so I knew he would love it. We stayed one night and had just a wonderful time. We went fishing on the reservoir (make sure you get a permit to fish!) and my hunny caught a couple small mouth bass. It is still a little early in the season for large mouth bass but we DEFINITELY will be coming back in he summer. The reservoir is stocked with salmon, large and small mouth bass, pike, and pickerel. We also went for a trail ride with Wendy and had such a great time. Her horses were all very cooperative and behaved. We felt safe and confident riding with Wendy. We also stayed in the new rental they have attached to the main house. It is just such a nice country getaway perfect to relax and be with the one I love. Wendy and Kevin are very gracious to their guests and always try their best to accommodate your needs. Oh! And they have an adorable lap dog turned farm dog named Scruffy! He loves people and the horses. Thanks so much Wendy and Kevin! Can't wait to come back again :)

I bought this on groupon (which was a great deal and I highly reccomend if you've always wanted to try a ride)and My son and I went on a great trail together. Unfortunately Wendy was broken so we had a replacement guide who fortunately was awesome, down to earth and there to just enjoy the ride, as were we. The scenery is nice especially this time of year. Everything was wonderful however THE BEST PART was the horses and scruffy the dog. The horses are gentle and loving and well trained. I rode Red who is a beast of a horse but he is just a sweet gentle soul. My son rode happy who is also sweet and likes to enjoy the scenery. Then there was scruffy the happy little dog who followed along the trail with us and is quite the little character. I could have spent all day here. I will definitely be back.I've rode many times and this was by far the most peaceful relaxing ride with the best horse I've ridden. Thank You!

Highly recommend going to stay here! Stayed for one night in an adorable rental apartment with easy access to the horses, we were able to feed them treats, pet then, and even ride them! After a short walk down to the lake, we could sit on a private dock and have a picnic, go canoeing, or out in the row boat. I even went for a trail ride with Wendy! What an amazing time and great host. She really thought of every little thing and made an incredible experience for us. I wish I could have stayed for a month! Thanks Wendy! I will definitely be coming back soon!

Just had the trip of a lifetime at Rocke N Horse Farm! The experience was super hands on. Wendy went above and beyond in accommodating us! We were greeted with a wonderful basket with wine, crackers, cheese, popcorn, and a blanket. She let us help feed the horses every morning, then brush them and walk Rascal. We got to interact with Harley, Happy, Preacher, and Rascal so much and loved every minute of it! Spending time with Wendy and Kevin was like staying at a friend's home. We'll definitely be back!!
