This Trustee land is a lovely walk with gorgeous ocean views. We didn't go all the way to the end, but we had a great leisurely morning.

My wife and 10 yr old son and puppy went for a hike / a stroll around World’s End to enjoy the views, scenery and fresh air. With amazing views of surround inlets bays and Boston skyline it was a great excursion everyone enjoyed even the puppy.
We even saw a deer and her young baby only about 30 yards from us. We just kept still and quiet to observe.
This was our second time at World’s End park and we will be going again and again
Tickets are requested to be purchased on line ahead of your arrival small parking and fills up during busy season but you can buy tickets ahead of time and request time frame
We purchased tickets on line on our way to the park
Enjoy

Prob my favorite walk in Hingham. Offers hills but most importantly, the BEST views of the harbor and the Boston Skyline. Great for families, couples, exercise, picnics, etc.

World's End is home to exceptional views of Boston, the bay, and even the ocean as you look out over Nantasket and Hull. Broad meadows and a rocky shoreline are open for walking, though carriage trails provide a very well maintained main pathway around the peninsula. It's a common spot for sunsets, and is also a good place togo snowshoeing if there's a good accumulation.
It's more difficult to kayak off the shore here - I recommend launching from Hingham Harbor instead and kayaking across the harbor to explore World's End instead.
As a Trustees property, you can either enter for free as a member or pay a fee. Parking is pretty decent.
Overall it's a beautiful spot, especially for a picnic, date, or just a walk around admiring the views. Birdwatching is also encouraged on the marsh or in the fields, and there is a bird blind structure by the marsh.

Sunday's forecast looked glorious so we booked 11AM entry to World's End. $15/car on the weekends, and we had our choice of times when we booked 4 days ahead of time
NOTE: BE aware of where your GPS is sending you. I noticed it was sending us to Hull with a dotted line to get to World's End. THAT WILL NOT WORK unless you are a strong swimmer or have access to a boat! The entrance is off of Martin's Lane.
We arrived at about 10 of 11, and gave our name at the gate. Ranger confirmed we had reservations and directed us towards parking and gave us directions to the reservation from the lot. Crossed the bridge and you are surrounded by grass and trees and bushes and the water. So much space to explore, although the limited number of paths means you will regularly see other people. I'd estimate 90% were wearing masks properly, which was nice.
The further away from the entrance you go, the fewer people you will see.
We walked the perimeter and along the "beach" with a view of the Boston skyline, and left after about 90 minutes (one of us got a blister).
Very pleasant visit, the place is quite well maintained and worth the trip

The walking paths are well taken care of and plenty of room for 2 way traffic. You do have to wear a mask. We walked leisurely for about 3 hours. Gorgeous place in the fall. We booked our time online so we could enter the park. Due to the timed entry, the park is not over crowded. We saw a few deer roaming around. I will definitely go again.

Beautiful walking paths. Reservations currently needed, easily accessed on-line with the Trustees of Reservations for the hour you plan to enter. Members free. Others $10/car. Enjoyable fall day walk, very friendly staff greeting you. Portable bathrooms available now. Lots of room to really enjoy the solitude and nature at its best.

Hidden Gem!
This is my all time favorite place to come. It has absolutely amazing views everywhere you look. It is such a nice place to hike, sit by the ocean, or even have a picnic. The staff was extremely helpful and kind even when I did not have a time slot pass (I was not aware of this upon arrival) but she helped me out even when the time slot was taken by someone else she made an exception for me! Incredibly kind hearted woman. I will be coming back many times in the future. It is my boyfriend and I's favorite place to just sit down, relax, and embrace the beautiful views of Boston, the ocean, and everything else!

Beautiful. Able to see the city skyline from the elevation and coastline. Has great walking and exercise trails, a historical element with landmarks that teach and guide the history behind the land , ample parking , and a beautiful place that all must visit with children, dates, friends.
Also by boat it’s fantastic place to stake a ground and soak in the beauty. LOVE!

I'm new to twitter, but I have found the main twitter connection and clicked follow. How do I learn more about the parking? Do they post if parking is filling up?

There are staff at the entrance. Unless you are a member, you will be charged an entry fee. If the lots are close to being full, they will direct you on where to park. You may have to wait for parking if the lots are at capacity. They might even have police on duty to stop cars. Its very popular.

I am temporarily in a wheelchair and am wondering if the carriage road trails might be wheelchair accessible?
Carol P

There are hills and the roads are gravel so not good for a regular wheelchairs '
Are the trails stroller friendly? Is there a fee for children under 3?
Thanks!
Claire M
Duxbury, MA4 bidrag
Yes, most of the trails are stroller friendly- hard- pack dirt in most places with some loose gravel-many carriage roads are appropriate, not sure about the smaller trails. Not sure about cost for child- May want to check their website. Enjoy.

Buddy, There might be some place , but I am not able to recollect it. You can plan to go to "Nantasket Beach", which is nearby.

Was thinking of canoeing and kayaking from Hingham Harbor Pkg lot to World's End.
Can non residents park in the lot? Is there a better put in spot?
Also, can a canoe do this paddle or is the water too choppy?
About how long should it take to paddle across?
Are there landing spots on World's End?
Thanks! Charlene g

I always go from Hingham Harbor and you can get there in 20 min. usually the water isn't choppy but that depends on the weather.
Just be careful about the tides. At low tide you can't go from Hingham harbor easily as the water level gets too low. I have almost gotten stuck in my kayak.
