Overall it was an okay experience. the kids were pleased but the hay rides weren't running (i think due to mud) so we had to walk the orchard. Not like it's huge but the hayride part is always most fun to the kids...and lets face it, i was really only there for the kids.

This is a wonderful apple orchard that offers a wide variety of apples. It caters to families with children of all ages as well as couples and singles. Visitors can pick their own apples or visit the shop to purchase many apple related treats.

We have been there a number of times in past years and enjoyed it. We were there on a Saturday recently. There was no tractors ride to the orchard because the tractor was broken. There was no signage about it not running so we had to ask. No mini donuts because of an equipment failure. We bought an apple crisp and it needed more butter and spices. Kids still enjoyed it definitely not as much fun as other years.

Read the whole review!!!! My wife, 2 year old daughter, and myself came to this orchard today to pick apples. After we picked our apples, we wanted to ride the hayride. I went inside to pay for my apples and put them in the car, while my wife and daughter stood in line by the hayride start. When I got out and joined them, a large school group was boarding the hayride, and the tractor driver was in the middle of telling a couple other people that during the week they have a lot of school groups that fill up the hayride. That's all I overheard. Ok, no big deal so far. The school groups are probably on a time crunch so they want all them to get through. Makes perfect sense.

My wife and I took our daughter over to the maze and played on the slides a little while thinking after the school groups get done with the hayrides, then we can go for a ride. We walked back over towards the hayride start when another tractor pulled up. We asked that tractor driver if this one was for another school group, or if they were all through and we could go now. He said yes, he has room and we can get on this one. My wife, daughter, and I got on as well as 3 other ladies with their children. The driver took us for a nice hayride. Still a pleasant experience so far.

As we were leaving, however, things went south fast. As we leave the store, I was standing there holding the door open for a couple people on their way in when the first tractor drive that took the school group out came up to me and stood in front of me, getting within a couple feet of my face. He started talking to me about how he doesn't enjoy turning people away, but it's their policy on weekdays that they take school groups out on the hayrides. He said he didn't appreciate us just climbing on an empty hayride and going on it. I told him that we didn't do that at all. We understand that the school groups were going first. I told him we waited until they all went through, then SPECIFICALLY ASKED the tractor driver if we could ride this one. The drive said YES, so we climbed on.

Somewhere along the line of this conversation, I said we asked for permission, and the driver said yes. What else are we supposed to do???? He said it's our policy that the weekdays are for school only. I said well the driver didn't tell us that, HE SAID WE COULD RIDE. It's not our fault the driver told us we could. He replied that this was the drivers second day.

Ummm...what?!? How is that my problem???? It's not my problem that your employee isn't educated on the company policy and gave us permission to ride the hayride, as well as the 3 other families!!! I'm supposed to know about the policy and not even ask?!?! That's just ridiculous. I proceeded to tell this person that I didn't appreciate being confronted like this, and there are plenty of other orchards in the area I can take my business to. This proceeded to set this person off. I started walking away to my car and my family. He starting walking with me raising his voice. The things he said were this. "Fine, we don't want you here! Go ahead and review on facebook or whatever you want! I can't wait to debunk them!" (That was an interesting comment since at no point in our otherwise respectful conversation to that point had I mentioned giving them a bad review. Obviously this person is used to bad reviews from the sound of it.)

The last thing he yelled, again, as I was walking away trying to simply leave, was "I'm going to remember you! You're not welcome here anymore." As he stormed back into the store, I could hear him continuing to yell something along the lines of "that person is never allowed back here." Again, I was at my car, no longer talking to this person. But he was in the store, where other families and children were around, screaming about me.

This was an unreal experience. The thing we did "wrong" apparently was to ask, and receive permission from the tractor driver to go on the hayride. That's it. My family and I did not deserve to be berated by this employee. Please take your business elsewhere. You've been warned!!

We love the sweet tango apples. Picking is so much fun. They have amazing mini apple donuts that we usually grab before hopping on the hay ride that brings us to the trees. When we are done picking apples, the kids have a lot of fun playing on the play set, riding mini tractors, and checking out the full size tractor.

My workplace serves people with disabilities, and this orchard couldn’t be more accommodating when we visit annually! The hay ride is accessible, staff super friendly, and apples delicious of course. The drive is a bit long but well worth it with plentiful parking!

I’m okay spending $35 on 5 medium sized pumpkins, but feel at that price point they should be thoroughly washed. Couldn’t show up with a group of kids and leave empty handed; a bit disappointed.

We are not able to visit on the weekend but we went today and were able to pick many apples. Everyone working was very friendly, they have a ton of apples and wagons to carry picked apples. Pricing was on par too. Weekends look like a lot of fun.

This orchard is not very large as compared to other orchards, but has a lot of offerings for the size. Access is by nearby gravel roads, so depending on wind direction, it can be a little dusty there.
