One of the finest soccer specific stadiums in the country. Capacity of around 21K makes for a great atmosphere but also not a bad seat in the stadium. The most fun can be found in the standing only Wonderwall on the south side of the stadium where the Dark Clouds create the noise. Nice beer selection (although grossly overpriced) throughout the stadium and a good variety of food to be found. The Brew Hall on the north end makes for a good spot pre- or post-game. Also make sure to stop by the Black Hart on University Ave with its new outdoor beer garden before the game where the most dedicated fans gather. Use the light rail from Minneapolis to avoid the hassle and cost of parking around the stadium.

This stadium was beautiful. Very clean and bright, not a bad seat in the house. The main ticket purchasing site used is Seat Geek and we did have a problem getting tickets, but after trying for a while, we were able to get some amazing seats. The food options were good, but the walking space is a little tight because of all the options.

I love this venue! We have been here many times, for both Minnesota United FC games and international soccer matches. My daughter and I even attended the infamous US National Men’s team game on Feb 2, 2022 where wind chills dipped into the teens below zero!
There isn’t a bad place to sit in this stadium, views are great all around. Ticket prices tend to be very reasonable compared with many other sporting events. Entry lines can get long for larger events, so it’s safer to arrive about an hour ahead of time in those cases. There are a lot of great food options, although you do have to deal with standard high stadium food prices. The fans are fantastic, and the feeling of camaraderie after a MN United win when everyone sings Wonderwall is heartwarming!!

Went to a 7:00 pm Saturday game. Great fun, even sitting in the sun for the first half (there was a nice breeze). Bring a hat if you are sitting on the East side of the stadium. Avoid buying tickets near the South end of the stadium, because the drums play throughout the entire game. We enjoyed them only because we were sitting far away from them.
By 6:30 when we arrived, the crowds were thick, it was hard to find our seating section, the food lines were long, and the payment screens were failing because the software seemed to be overwhelmed. Next time, we'll arrive at 5:30 when the gates open.
If you are coming from a distance away leave time for parking and shuttle to the stadium. We left 2 hours ahead, drove to St. Paul, parked near the Central Green line station and rode the train to Allianz Field. Logistically, this works fine (and I'm a huge fan of public transportation), but unfortunately, the Green line is not well supervised and it felt unsafe. The stations are filled with trash, we had multiple people around us on the platform who had mental illness and were pacing around, cursing loudly, walking across the tracks. Few people on the train wore masks, other than other spectators traveling to the game. It wasn't until we arrived at Allianz Field that we saw the first security officer (who only asked to see our paid train tickets). So we won't be taking the Green line again.
Instructions to purchase parking tickets for a lot near Allianz Field are confusing. The link takes you to Seat Geek but it doesn't tell you that you have to scroll down several screens to find the option to find parking tickets. Once you find that option, the rest is just like buying a game ticket. Next time, we'll be driving early and parking at the Cub Foods lot across from the stadium.
Also, plan to leave time to visit the Black and Blue shop after the game. Not many crowds and great merchandise. We got a $120 jacket that was on sale for $50.

Nice little stadium but not well run. Games can be fun. Not a big soccer fan but the play was engaging and moves quickly. Easy to get tickets to as not nearly as popular as other sports in town.
1) There is no parking. It's all 3rd party, parking in nearby mall parking lots (paid). If you can light-rail it, great. If you have to drive... it's annoying and plan ahead.
2) Pay attention to where the sun is (game time) and where your seats are. If you are on the east side of the stadium (top 1/2 of lower level, nearly all of upper level), you'll cook in the direct sun. Recommend sitting on west side for evening games.
3) The team pays a drum line band to play -all- -the- -time-, constantly, through the entire match. It makes it sound like the crowd is excited but it's just the band drums, the megaphones from the paid cheering. It's really loud and would suspect they'll get a lawsuit at some point for knowingly causing hearing damage. It's one thing to have a loud crowd - another thing to just cause loud noise right next to the crowd.
This isn't like most places where you play every once in awhile or when there is exciting action - they play -all- -the- -time--. The entire South stands, and the sections near that end, are constantly bombarded with the banging drums.
Tip: Sit close to mid-field or further north to save your hearing.

Home of Minnesota United FC, or the Loons as they are fondly called by it's fans. One of the best venues for soccer in the country. Perfect size stadium. No bad seat in the house. The all standing supporter section behind the south goal known as "The Wonderwall" creates the energy in the stadium. Lots of beer options in the stadium and the Brew Hall in the north end is a popular destination. Also lots of high quality food options provided by many local vendors. Limited parking around the stadium. Ride the light rail to the Snelling Ave station to attend a match. Make sure to check out the Black Hart Bar nearby on University Avenue before or after the game to meet up with the hard core supporters of the team. Enthusiastic but respectful away fans are welcome here too.

Allianz Field is a wonderful place to catch a soccer match in the twin cities. The atmosphere is electric with the "Wonderwall" fans on the south end of the stadium. Come to a game and join in a chorus of Wonderwall, the song, after a Minnesota United victory.

I attended a company party at Allianz Field. The room was a nice size, the food was a spread of options, and the wait staff were pleasant to work with. Overall a great time was had by all. Can’t wait to see a game at the field!

My teenagers and I attended a Minnesota United game at Allianz Field. The seat had a great view, but were in the direct sun for the first half. It was a hot and sunny day, We retreated to the vendor areas that were all in the shade. The second half was perfect and the crowd was filled with positive energy for the entire game. Only down side was parking, it was a challenge to find any if you are not familiar with the area and didn't know you had to reserve parking in advance.

The stadium is immediately north of Interstate 94. Most of the pay-to-park lots are south of the stadium. There is stadium parking, but I am pretty sure you must have prepaid to park there. It is a new stadium this year (2019) and is very nice. There is a broad concourse with plenty of food concessions and there is a team store across from each corner of the field. The roof gives weather protection for almost all seating except for the south end of the facility. The "supporters" (standing only) section is in the north end. There is a big screen video board in the south end. If it is an evening game, you will have to contend with the sun if you sit on the east side. Most of the seating is individual plastic seats without arm rests. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you have an upper level seat you will have to climb stairs.

We will likely walk about from the Days Inn to a game, which is about a mile. Is the surrounding area easy for pedestrians?

We were with a large group, so we had to park off site. Then took a shuttle to the stadium. But I did see ALOT of fans walking to the game. There was a lot of police around the stadium directing traffic and stopping traffic to allow fans to cross the road.
