We discovered the World’s Largest Fork, on the south side of town, in 2020… and it is large!
The fork is some 35 feet tall… it is located on Chesterfield Avenue…
Location… the south side of Springfield, MO…
the James River Freeway circles Springfield… at the southern point / intersection is with the S. Kansas Expressway… go one road north… turn left onto Chesterfield Blvd… the fork is less than a quarter mile away, on the right side… the road gently turns left… as it begins to turn back to the right, you’ll need to turn right there… and then you’ll see it.
According to Atlas Obscura, and Roadside America, this is no longer the tallest but it is second tallest and the fork with the largest mass
”At 35 feet high, the fork rise in front of a three-story building occupied by Noble and Associates, a Springfield ad agency. Although no longer the world's tallest -- it was bested by a 37-foot-high fork in Oregon in 2022 -- it remains, at 11,000 pounds, the world's heaviest.”
Roadside America shares:
“Our own local associates tell us that in 1998 the fork stood in front of a restaurant that failed on South Glenstone, in otherwise booming Springfield. The ad agency hauled the fork across town to its new office building, where it's been ever since. Noble does a lot of work for the food service and retail industry, so in that respect the fork makes sense.”
Thank you to any and all, at the now closed original restaurant, at the Noble and Associates ad agency, and any/all who helped relocate this treasure!
We’ve now visited twice and we’ll visit again!

One of those unusual landmarks you feel like you need to see. This is a well maintained landmark and interesting story. Fun to see if you have the time.

This hidden gem was nice to find. While my oldest 2 weren't very impressed (as teenagers have no taste) The younger 2 enjoyed seeing this, as did I.

Fun stop, went on Christmas day so naturally no one was around and we got to take a lot of pics without interruption. Highly recommend if you like run roadside attractions!

The fork is a hilarious attraction for a photo op if you're in the area. It's right next to a parking lot, so easy to access.

Nice tall sculpture! ❤️ I love our family photo with it. The location is kind an odd because it’s in a neighborhood area. I was expecting to be in a park or recreational area. But overall it’s a nice landmark to see. Not in a busy area. Good for one time visit.

This is an art piece in front of a design company. It's a 39 foot forking Their entry way. I mean it's free to see it. It's literally a fork.

We had seen this advertised and decided to make a visit while overnight in Springfield. It’s a big fork!! It’s rather hidden away in a small business park and easy to miss. It’s a fun photo op and worth a 5 minute stop.

This is in the middle of office buildings. It is a fun place to pose a photo. I just wish there was some explanation of it.

My parents thought I was a little crazy when I told them I wanted to go see this attraction. Thankfully, I had read some of the other reviews for it and knew it was behind the building at the address it is listed at. Since we went on a Sunday, the parking lot was empty and we didn’t have to contend with people getting in my photos. I had my dad take a couple of serious ones, plus a couple fun ones. It was really amusing overall. Though I am sad to report that technically it is the World’s 2nd Largest Fork, having been usurped by a 37 foot fork in Oregon, but it is still the heaviest at 11 tons. If you’re in Springfield, go find it.
