A must do while in Tahoe. Wonderful staff and crew on the Dixie II. Great lunch was available along with a fantastic gift shop. Great views on every level and side. Good historical information but the video needs to be updated. We enjoyed the whole trip!

We all enjoyed our tour of Lake Tahoe and the MS Dixie ride. Our group included grandparents, parents, and grand kids aged 6 & 7. We were disappointed in not seeing any whales, sharks, or penguins. This is not a whale watching cruise. 😩. 😁

This is a boat ride to remember for sure. You Must take this Cruise if you are in Lake Tahoe. The views are magnificent, the staff is wonderful! The boat is so neat to be on. Every minute was great. The water is so clear and Emerald Bay view from the lake is so pretty. The bus will pick you up wherever you are staying saving you parking fees and having to drive yourself. Highly recommend this Cruise!

Beautiful views of the lake. Staff was very friendly and all on their game. Nice way to spend the afternoon. Arrive extra early to allow time to find parking in case the lot with beach goers is full. We arrived an hour early before boarding and got a space in the lot and walked the path along the beach.

Belle ballade d'une heure et demi à peu près sur le lac Tahoe. Après la voiture, nous le découvrons d'une autre manière. Paysages toujours plus beaux.

We booked an Emerald Bay cruise with Zephyr Cove several months before our trip to Lake Tahoe for our 40th anniversary. Payment in full was required when we booked. I made numerous attempts via email and voicemail to contact them regarding the cruise as we had changed hotel including a voicemail message 2 days before our cruise. I received NO response. When we arrived for our late morning cruise we were shuffled around from person to person because nobody could give us an answer. We were then informed the cruise wasn’t until 2:30. We already had other commitments for the afternoon so that didn’t work. When we indicated we had made numerous attempts to contact them they had no answer. This cruise was on the day of our 40th anniversary. I was heartbroken to think a company could screw up so bad and not have the time to contact their patrons that had prepaid for this cruise. Very very poor customer service! We were refunded but it didn’t make up for the disappointment.

An afternoon cruise was part of our travel package on our vacation, so I can't say what a typical ticket would cost. While we enjoyed the scenery and a cocktail, I think I would have enjoyed it more had it not been so crowded. We couldn't find a comfortable place on the top level so we went inside and found a table with some of our tour group. Most of the narration was interesting but then they ended with what looked like an old VHS tape about underwater explorations of the lake. It looked really dated and not the sharpest. We also skipped the photo opp when you board since we don't need to pay for a souvenir photo. It was a nice way to see the lake but I don't think I'd do this again.

Dixie is fine. But don't use tripadvisor for reservation. They just cancelled my reservation after 2 days without even informing me and then just sent me a notification that my reservation has been cancelled. I lost valuable time and it was then too late to do another reservation. Not acceptable :-(

Nice trip and good narration. There was enough to tell us what we were seeing and some of the history of the area without it being too much. We had time to talk to each other as well as time to listen. The ride was smooth, sitting on the outside top. It’s very windy up front so be prepared for that. I had a raspberry Margarita which was ok but nothing to write home about. Someone else commented that hers tasted as if there was little too no alcohol in it. I’m not sure what she has. If I did it again, I wouldn’t spend the money on an alcoholic drink and get one later that would be more substantial. The bar on the property has one of the best bloody Mary’s I’ve ever had! All in all, we were glad we did it.

Great service and fun excursion to get another view of beautiful Lake Tahoe. It was interesting to see the shoreline from the water. It was a bit hazy due to the fires, but it added to the experience. The rum runners were tasty as well!
