What a great show! Wayne gives an entertaining and historical perspective of his life by talking, singing, videos, and a questions and answer session. It’s great that Wayne makes fun of himself with a few references to the movie Vegas Vacation! Very entertaining and worth seeing a historical figure.and his beautiful wife Kathleen.

My husband and I made a spontaneous choice to see this Las Vegas Legend. We were impressed by the intimate theater; it truly was an opportunity to get Up Close and Personal with Wayne Newton and his wife who was a charming emcee. We were entertained for the entire show which was a mix of anecdotes, videos and greatest hits. You will NOT be dissapointed!

What a show! Despite his age this has to be the best show he’s done. You’re in a very small intimate theater. No seat is more than 30-40 feet from the stage. I opted for the VIP experience and got a table dead center and a photo with Wayne after the show. Additionally he plays several of the musical instruments he’s famous for playing.
The show it self is a mix of his music and stories from his epic life in Las Vegas. He shares stories about his past, his family, and the phenomenal people he’s meet over his long career.
Show is about 90 minutes. Photos are permitted during the show.

I’m not even a Wayne Newton fan, or at least I wasn’t before seeing this show, but his performance at the Flamingo was entertaining and extremely moving and special. Highly highly recommend this show. Best show I’ve seen in Vegas. So fortunate that I caught Wayne on a documentary about Vegas on CNN a few days for our trip and decided it might be nice to see his show. God, fortune and fate have a funny way of working. Amen 🙏🏼

It was so good! Some songs and old stories in a very intimate venue, this is a must see. Wayne delivered a great show, and you shouldn't miss it!

Wonderful show! My husband and I attended for our anniversary and had a great time. Loved hearing the stories and of course all the great songs!

Oh goodness. I’ve never had ANY desire to see Wayne Newton. I’ve never listened to his music or been a fan. I honestly went to be able to brag to my brother who IS a fan and would be jealous. Trash sister, I know. Anyway. I went with super low expectations, other than boredom.
It was amazing. Wayne Newton is a consummate entertainer. His show was small—likely 100 people fit in the venue—and it felt like a personal concert. His stories, and life were amazing and whatever that “it” factor is for show biz he’s had it since childhood. He was funny, kind and such a sweet throwback to the glory days of old Vegas, but in the best way.
I’ve seen Jimmy Buffett, Aretha, Bette and Celine and somehow this show might have actually been my favorite. We bought tickets via Flamingo for $69 (plus tax/fees) and it was more than worth it.
If you’re on the fence, or even like me and don’t have a noted interest, I’d still encourage you to go. It’s a delightful experience by one of the world’s most talented entertainers.

Hands down one of the BEST shows I’ve ever seen. Mr. Newton is absolutely AMAZING! Well worth every penny. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone! A true living legend! Can’t wait to see him again. 5 Stars!

I'm an 81 year old female who was treated to Wayne Newton's show by my children, who attended the show with me. I really enjoyed the music, the stories he told, and the video clips. It brought back so many memories! He was so engaged with the audience during the whole show, which was impressive. My children just went to take me, but they ended up enjoying the show as much as I did! I definately want to see his show again and would recommend that everyone else see it, too. You won't be disappointed! I did the Meet & Greet after the show, and Mr. Newton took the time to talk to me for a while before we posed for pictures. Such a classy guy!

Lovely time
We were tired, but my husband told me how much he enjoyed seeing Wayne Newton perform in a casino and Mississippi many years ago. Mr. Newton plays 13 instruments and continues to perform and delight others. I could see that he really wanted to go so I quickly booked ticket and caught an Uber over to the flamingo, which wasn’t far from the Venetian. Everything went very well. In fact, they moved us up to the VIP seats because there were two seats in front. Mr. Newton was charming, personable, told many stories about his past and really brought us to tears. He is still singing playing violin and still guitar and several other instruments. He is amazing. He is 82 years old and still loving to perform, and it’s very obvious that he connects with the audience and way that I didn’t expect. I remember seeing him on TV as a child with Jack Benny and Jackie Gleeson, and he brought back all these memories which brought me back to how I felt about watching him with my grandmother when I was a child. I can’t recommend the show enough it is to the human spirit.

Do single men go to see this show? I've always respected Wayne Newton and he's one of the last icons of Vegas still performing. Always thought of him, like Tom Jones, as being a women's show and wondered if I would be out of place as a single man?

The show lasted about two hours. We purchased VIP seating which entitled us to an after show meet and greet with an individual photo opportunity with Mr. Newton.
Having seen Wayne Newton perform in Las Vegas a few times over the years this was a very nice small venue in which to enjoy his still great voice and stage presence.

His show was at Ballys. There are a lot of acts changing around rooms on the strip.
His act pulses on and off meaning, he'll do it for 2 weeks then be off. I doubt he has retired.

Yes, you can purchase tickets at Bally's or any of the Caesar's Entertainment box offices in Las Vegas (Flamingo, Linq, Caesar's, Paris).
The show runs about 90 minutes.

If someone has purchased a VIP Meet & Greet ticket to an upcoming Wayne Newton: Up Close and Personal show, are they allowed to bring one item such as an LP / record album cover for Mr. Newton to autograph? Just wondering if there is a "no autographs" policy or any kind of autograph restrictions at the meet & greet, such as only signing merch bought at the show, for example. This would be helpful to know before travelling to Las Vegas for this show. Thank you.
